It would be nice to even things up against the Steelers, but I bet a Cowboys-Raiders Super Bowl would garner about as much attention as a game ever could.

I'd like to play the Giants because they have pissed me off, and beating the Steelers would be fun because I have a lot of their Butt-head fans around me.
That said I'm just so happy we're in this position After Twenty long years and I just want to dominate the league for about 5 to 10 in a row

Why does everyone want to play the Giants? I don't. I want them out of the playoffs in their first game. I want them one and done. Even though all the East coast bias will say they would have beat us again if we played. But i don't care.
I do not like them, and that Odella WR is an idiot, and does not deserve a playoff win.

It's not that I don't think we can beat them, I just don't want them around as the refs will gear them wins if they can.

As too who I want to play then. TB again, or even Seattle, maybe Minnesota, even though they will have AP back, as I think we can win those.
If we get HFA, there are no teams out there that I don't think we could beat, but Atlanta may be tough and NY would be tough again.

Me, I want another shot at the Giants. They shouldn't have beaten us once, let alone twice, and I just think poetic justice wouldn't just deliver a win, but a decisive one.

Second, who doesn't want a replay with our 2014 (and long-time) nemesis, the Packers?

Those are mine.

I don't care about bravado, I want to win.

So with that being said, I want to play teams that we match up with the best. That would be teams like Tampa. I do not want to play the Giants because they built their entire team with the singular goal of beating us. They have really big LBs, almost like DEs playing LBs that allow them over power our offensive line, especially on blitzes. The opposite is true with Tampa, they have smaller, but faster LBs that are good for covering receivers since the NFC South is primary a passing division. They don't match up well with a big, powerful offensive line like we have and that is why they struggled to stop the run allowing Zeke his season high in yardage.

So while it would be nice to beat the Giants, I do not want to play a team that specifically built their roster with the singular goal of beating us. The Giants are the worst match up for us personnel wise in the playoffs, so I really am at a loss as to why fans want to play them again, unless its just bravado talking and not really analyzing the matchups and how the position groups pair off.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think the Giants outcome would be different come playoff time?

Giants, Seahawks, then Patriots.

Take our spot on the throne for the next decade.

Honestly I want the easiest path, but that one would be a great story. Problem is there are alot of SB teams didn't take the path of most resistance to win.....they just won.

I would rather just win, but it would be fun to beat those teams, and throw in the Pack for good measure as an alternate.

I personally think a home game helps on top of this offense finding a way to adjust. I also like the wrinkle Thant McFadden brings, which we didn't have in the last 2 games against the Giants.

I have to agree with the easiest path. Personally, we will have home field advantage so I would rather play the Lions and the Seahawks would be nice. I think we could beat the brakes off of both of them at home, look at their away records.

SB, who knows, have to also go with someone who could get there. I would rather the Pats don't show up there, that would be nice.

Works for me (although "finding a way to adjust" is a bit ambiguous for my comfort). I do think McFadden brings an interesting dimension, although not sure how impactful in the grand scheme of things. I also think our defense can be a bit more impactful because of the developing pass rush but frankly, they played incredibly well against the Giants the last go around.

To me, this absolutely comes down to Prescott. Can he solve the riddles that Spags throws at him, can he convert more third downs and pass effectively in the red zone? We will see. I hope so because I really don't think I could stand losing to that team for a third time this year.

If we somehow got to the SuperBowl, I don't want to play the Patriots either. I would much rather play the Steelers or even the Raiders than the Pats.

Like I said in another post, I don't care about bravado or bragging rights or anything like that, I want to play the teams that we have the best chance of beating.

Yeah all we need is Tom Brady and the hoodie getting extra time to prepare against our D. Definitely hope someone else gets rid of them first.

Well the two team I would like to see in post season is Dallas and Pittsburgh.

Oh wait you were talking about two teams Dallas to play in post season.... :flagwave:

Whoever they play.

I don't sweat who the opponents could/would/should be. If the offense plays clean, and executes, this team can beat anyone in the NFL.

One of those situations where I feel they've played us at just the right time in both instances, and played near or at their peak capacity. Teams play within ranges... not saying anything everyone doesn't realize... "how good a team is" is not a static thing... and I think while the dynamics worked in their favor a couple of times, with us not playing at anywhere near our own peak on the first two meetings (ie, Zeke was hardly a factor in the first, and Dak had arguably his worst game in the second), I feel pretty confident that some drastic regression to the mean would occur on both fronts in a third cage match.
