I played some destiny and destiny 2 and then I retired from it on the ps4. Built a gaming computer and played destiny 2 on it for a while until life took over.
keep us updated on games brother. good job.
I get a Gamefly envelope in the mail yesterday. I open it up and it's Hot Wheels: Unleashed. I apparently must have added this on my GameFly queue. lol My first thoughts are that it is a kids game. "What am I going to do with this?" Ah, what the heck, it's sitting right here in front of me, so I might as well throw it in the Xbox and see what it's all about.
I can't believe how much fun I am having with this game.
I stayed up late last night playing it and then did some more racing this afternoon. It's just great arcade racing fun that takes you back to being a kid building tracks and collecting Hot Wheel cars. Now, I don't know that I would have bought this game, but for a game to beat the "campaign" and send back? It's a perfect GameFly rental.
So much to look forward to from some of my favorite franchises over the next 5 years
-Starfield in Nov
-"Witcher 4" is in development now
-Elder Scrolls 6 is in development
-Dragon Age 4 will be finished at some point
- Ghost Of Tsushima 2 isnt confirmed but likely
- Horizon team is teasing a 3rd game
- GTA 6 is in development
I have had that game at home forever. I finally purchased the game from GameFly because it seemed pointless to send it back since I had paid so much in rental and I hadn't played it. Hopefully I will get to play it soon.
I wish GameFly had a digital option (if they do I don't know about it). Many times I want to play the game but I don't feel like always having to load off a disk, so the game sits there not being used.
I absolutely agree!! In fact, their Keep It Now price for that game is only $22 (and I have $5 off), but I really don't want a disc. The industry has successfully converted me to a digital fan. It's just so much more convenient, especially if you have multiple consoles in a home.
I actually got a Sony Direct invitation on Tuesday for the event yesterday. I unfortunately had to miss it. I was just way too busy with work stuff during the hours of the event. I read about it, and heard that lots of people would be put into a queue, and then would still miss out. Decided it just wasn't worth the hassle of trying to be on my phone while I was on the go between meetings yesterday.
So, my PS5-less life will continue to wait. lol
The DRM-free giveaway of Postal 2 from GOG ends at 3:30 PM CST today...
Any of you Elden Ring players managed to get to and defeat Melania? Just kicking my *** over and over.
No help for you lol! I'm still playing Horizon and looked to my usual souls' boss channels and see they put out a recent patch for it. Hopefully this can let you get through it, so just like a nacho, throw cheese on it!!! In all seriousness these are the few times I would give no one grief for cheesing; the bosses can be so cheap at times it brings you back to arcade AI where you know you're getting hosed.
Lotta folks know about Cowboy, but this is his walkthrough of that fight too
Dang, that would have saved me some hours. I ended up grinding to level up and finally beat her the old fashioned way. Just finished the whole game yesterday! Horizon is next on my list.
Hard to believe that the actress who voices Aloy in the Horizon games is the same actress that voices Tiny Tina. What a range she has! Ashly Burch is amazing!
Noticed its half off on Steam through the weekend, really debating whether to push the buy button or not.
Just a heads up - I hear that the xbox site has the Series X in stock...
It looks like the Epic Games Store has a couple odd games for free this week...
...and not looking like a particularly good month for either PlayStation or Xbox...
If you use a walkthrough or watch someone else beat it and copy, then you did not beat the game. You did it the right way.
I had an apple IIgs computer a long time ago with a series of games called Kings Quests. I spent a long time not beating it or getting anywhere in the game. Years later I looked up the walkthrough of the first game in the series instead of trying to beat it when I was older, and I still regret it. Figuring that game out would have been an achievement.
I think it is a waste of money to cheat on the hard parts of games.
