it starts tonight. cee lo green and christian aguilera return after taking last season off. i hope that there are loads of great talent this season. should be good.

I'm about two episodes behind on my DVR schedule, but at least I saw last week's auditions. I think you can tell the difference with Cee-lo/Cristina vs the Usher/Shakira mix. The chemistry is still good, but the selections are waaaay better. I know it'll come with experience, but I like that some of the better singers are getting picked and not these low-talent folks.

They missed on one last week that I thought would've been great for Cee-lo, but overall, I'm pleased.

i saw him. i wish he had made a team. hopefully he'll come back next season. i liked him.

I had a friend that was on Monday night...

Just wasn't his night although the judges liked him... he was just a bit off and he is VERY popular in Austin... it happens...

Malford Milligan...

He was the, hold on for it, big black albino guy with blonde dreds that is legally blind... they never mentioned he was legally blind, but he is...

VERY sweet deserving guy, but he was a bit off that night in regards to stage presence. Judges loved his voice but he didn't "own" the song. He wasn't himself as he has health issues and had a bypass just 3 weeks before the competition, but as always he was gracious and nice... that's just him...

If you saw him live he would blow you away... commands the stage and owns the audience. It just wasn't his night...

Liked Him more than her...

Donna's and old school lady. She just believes in loud. She's Patti Labelle, but without the nuances.

Didn't like either of them. But somebody had to go.
I take that back. I liked him, but I didn't think that was a good song for him. Nor did I like them as a duet. Their voices just sounded too different.

I think if he comes back next cycle, he'd be on Usher's team. Or maybe go try out for BET's Sunday Best since it's totally geared toward gospel singers which he is.
