I'm sure the qb being 'evaluated' means as much as them saying CM will see the field. Weeden will get trotted out there, we'll probably score a couple of touchdowns due to huge Joseph Randle runs and then our offense will be shut out in the second half and we'll blame the defense for not completely shutting out the Giants.

I am a Garett Guy. (ducks).

I know him personally, respect him and have appreciated what he has done with this team the last few years. But if he doesn't make a change, I'm starting to take a hard right off the expressway. Sorry dude.

I'm not sure this game today has a significantly different outcome with Romo and Dez in the lineup. That NE team was better than we are, overall. Even at full strength. It definitely wasn't a coaching shortcoming, anyway. Though they also do have better coaches.

Shouldve drafted Hundley

Weeden was just as bad last year. I was confused why there were people who thought he could sail the ship till Romo comes back. The only thing he sailed it into was an iceberg

The Cowboys would've blown the Patriots out. They aren't better than us when they're healthy. Having Romo and Dez out there negates their ability to crowd the line and it takes the squeeze off Witten and Beasley. Defense wouldn't be on the field the entire game and based off how they looked even with no help from the offense I don't see how you can say a healthy Cowboys team doesn't blow out the Patriots.

Kellen Moore is a better option than Weeden right now. I've watched YouTube videos of Moore play and I see more bravado in them than I've ever seen in Weeden's play. We don't have a QB on the field. We have a dump and hand off dummy.

Weeden has apathetic written all over his face.

I disagree completely. With a legit offense we win that game. This was like the last two games, defense folded after the 1at half.

Lol. No way to know now, unless we get healthy soon enough and meet in the Superbowl. From where I sat, they totally outclassed us. Even with us getting ridiculous pressure on them today, they still were so efficient offensively. They were very impressive.

Their defense obviously had their foot on the neck of the offense all game long.

I think it would have been like the 2007 game when both teams were at full strength. We'd have been closer, but still in a completely different class.

Not at all. Our schedule gets much lighter going from here. And the defense was two steps better this week than it had been the last two. This NE offense was really really good. We'll get Gregory back, and Dez back soon. And a bunch of 2-win teams like ours coming up here after the bye.

NFL seasons are long. Anybody writing a 2-3 team off in week 5 is overreacting.

If a change isn't made at QB, this season is over.

They weren't that impressive offensively. What's so impressive about picking on a defense that is on the field for the entire game? Nothing. They should've won by 40 with how inept the offense was. I'm not impressed with their defense at all. When you have a bum of a quarterback at Weeden it's pretty easy. Just stack the line and make him beat you and he can't. He still can't make reads.

Dallas would have won the defense played good enough to win with some offense.

Seriously? You think New England beats us by three scores with a top 3 quarterback and wideout healthy? New England isn't that good. The 2007 Pats would've beat us 70-0.

That offense was really efficient despite the pressure. They were effective in the passing game at all levels, from dump off passes to the running back, to the TEs to the WRs, both downfield and on checkdowns. They can run inside, and out. They pass protected well much of the time, despite being overmatched by Hardy. Just an all around good team. The pick plays not getting called are on the officials, but I give them credit for completely taking advantage of it.

Defensively, they covered and tackled well. They took the ball away twice, and only one was because of a QB mistake. They played a great game.

Of course, seriously. Why would I post it if I didn't mean it? It might have been a little closer cosmetically, but we wouldn't have been in position early in the 4th with a chance to win the game.

Kind of like how we stepped on necks last year.

Yes, they were impressive but I think having tape on them and getting some continuity on defense would make a Super Bowl a completely different game.

In fact - I think they would be in deep trouble.

we can still win the Division, both giant and the eagles suck.just need a QB who can make timely throws and getting Dez back should help.

Actually, i don't think any of the teams in our division really suck, they can all be pretty formidable on a given Sunday. The Eagles are still dangerous, and I expect the Giants to finish with a winning record... That said, you're right, we can still win the division, I think we still have a good chance at 9+ wins... We'll finish strong with Romo.

As for the thread topic, bring on Cassel now, that's why you traded for him... Although I'm not sure that Moore might not be a better option at this point...
