San Diego- Lane Johnson OT OKLAHOMA-SD moves up to fill the void left by McNeil from years ago.

10. Tennessee- Bjoern Werner DE FLORIDA ST- I think all the talk of him sliding is pure smoke, Tennessee would love to put a guy like Werner across from Wimbley.

11. Cleveland- Tavon Austin WR WVU- They get a 2nd round pick back and the most electrifying player in the draft, question is can they use him?

12. Oakland- Sharrif Floyd DT FLORIDA- Floyd falls because of the run on Oline not because of talent.

13. Buffalo- Ryan Nassib QB SYRACUSE- They move back get extra picks and still get their guy.

14. Carolina- Xavier Rhodes DB FLORIDA ST- I have an actual close source to someone who knows Carolina's draft plans and the last two picks are A & B with this pick being C, Richardson is D.

15. New Orleans- Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB- I bet Rob Ryan's will go on a 3 week binger if Mingo is their at 15.

16. St Louis- Kenny Vaccaro S Texas- They might go Ogletree here but my guess is they won't risk letting Vaccaro try to slip to 22.

I would be thrilled if Richardson and Cooper are then when we pick. Wouldn't be surprised if we took Richardson though. Means Rat has one foot out the door.

Why do you think Richardson falls to #18?

Some draft analysts believe that he is the best defensive player in the draft. Others just limited it to best DT in the draft.

If you watch game footage or read scouting reports, it is difficult to find anything negative about his physical ability.

IMO, the only reason that Richardson would fall to #18 is for character issues. The media/fans don't always get the full story on some players character issues, but there are definitely some concerns with Richardson in this area.

The Cowboys with Garrett have become very conservative about drafting players with character issues or poor mental-makeup. Garrett coined the phrase Right-Kind-of-Guy (RKG) to describe not only players with good character but also players that work hard and love to play football.

Summary:

1. Richardson only falls to #18 due to character issues.

2. If other teams passed due to character issues, then the Cowboys/Garrett with also pass.

The above makes the probability of Richardson getting drafting by the Cowboys a very low probability.
