that's a phrase that gets thrown around a lot and there really is some merit to it.. the odds are against the winning team, if two teams are pretty equal, to pull the win off again later in the year.. so i'm surprised i haven't seen anyone mention it yet.. most of us here are thinking of a very possible Cowboys/Patriots Super Bowl.. if that does actually happen, it will be difficult for whoever wins this weekend to pull off another win in the Super Bowl.. i'm not saying that i hope that we lose this weekend or anything, of course not.. i'm just saying, it's something interesting to think about.. that being said, i think we will beat em this week and then smoke em in the Super Bowl..

on the same note, i do think that we will be a much better team in the playoffs than we are right now.. getting Terry Glenn and Tank Johnson halfway through the season will be a great lift for the offense and the defense.. plus we will finally have a healthy secondary with Newman and Henry both playing at the same time.. and we have a bunch of young players that will only get better.. and our defense will get more and more comfortable with the new schemes..
