And all I'm saying is that if it DOESN'T continue, and they lose to some team that we fans believe they shouldn't have lost to (which is every team on the remaining schedule ;) ), much of the hope goes away.

Then we all complain, and blame JJ, and Dak, and Eb, and we're back to Square 1, waiting for the draft and free agency.

Rinse, wash, repeat.

Is this team different? We'll see. It's been a few weeks. Too small of sample.

Talk about calm and cool under pressure, he exhibited it when they were behind, throughout the game and especially the last drive to run out the clock. Probably the most reasonable description of that game that I've seen. I would just change "want to" to "couldn't"

he really did. i'd have to look at the numbers, but the amount of third down conversions had to be on the high end of his career. seemed like every damn drive was third down third down third down, and he just kept right on converting. it was a really impressive performance.

going down 21-0 to philly should have been a death sentence. there was no reason to believe that they'd fight back, and yet for some reason, i had hope they would. and low and behold.
 
Playing good at the right time. We have to win out to make the playoffs.
 
He also had a long run for a TD, several calls from refs, 2 all pro WRs, a nearly 100 yard performance from starting RB...so he wasn't playing by himself.

Give Mahomes Dak's squad...and we'll see how much "will to win" would have mattered.
