The will to win

Dak has always been good QB. Can be great at times. His issue remains doing it in the playoffs. Until he shows that, several times, he will always get the negative opinions.

Yes you do. They own you. They control your very soul. Hours after arguably the best win of the last ten years you're conjuring up ghosts to attack.

Deep down, at the core, you are the true hater. Hate defines you.

Great win though. Played well and got the breaks. Felt like old times.
This is advanced psycho analysis^^^

You get it. And I get you.

Rocky … just doesn’t get it.

He lives in a world of his own creation and there’s simply no room for others. He dislikes even his small handful of supporters.

I wrote a long Dak praise thread after an early season win and he jumped in and called me a Dak hater.
Dude is ill.

It needs to be said and I don’t care how much hate I get for it as I’ve got thick skin. As Tony Romo pointed out, Dak will this team to the win. Talk about calm and cool under pressure, he exhibited it when they were behind, throughout the game and especially the last drive to run out the clock. That’s going to go along way in instilling even more confidence throughout the entire organization and fans should be ecstatic. Game ball to Dakota Prescott!
Or whatever it is, this is the first time I've noticed a Cowboys team being this physical in all three phases, that never seem to be really down when they get down, and this is really just since the bye week ,whatever's happened, whatever galvanized this team, we all know all the stories,

It's just they're playing physical football in the trenches, they're hitting hard, they're making the extra efforts like recovering that fumble you know George Pickens that would have been big mistake, if Turpin's not there jumping on that ball ,guys are very alert just like the fumble that was caused you know on special teams ,you still have to go get those, you still have to be alert focused ,and it looks like this team is the first time in a very long time that their physical in all phases, that they're giving extra effort, and they seem to be extra focused..

they're playing together and you got to get Brian Schottenheimer some flowers right now,

because I don't remember a coach has had to deal with this many issues right from the beginning you know the crazy offseason with the Parsons drama that led to the Parsons trade, that led to his defensive coordinator being shorthanded from the beginning, and then having all this mess all year long, a first time head coach that nobody wanted and then have to deal with this stuff with the passing of our defensive end, and all the injuries, and all this it's just been crazy for any coach, let alone a first time head coach, he needs to get his flowers...

Not only did he not have a QB he didn’t have a competent OC.

The Steelers, since Roethlesberger have absolutely failed have a pro level offense.

If Dak had been his QB the err it would have only been a small bit better.

Tomlin simply doesn’t want innovated (risky) offensive play callers
I've never liked Tomlin as a HC. He was continuously bailed out by the talent of Rothy. Grossly overrated.

See with the problem I have with that statement is you're not seeing that this is playoff atmosphere you get behind you throw an interception and yet you still bring your team back I guess another desperate team that needed this win as bad as we did a team with that head coach that defensive coordinator and that quarterback and yet you spot them seven points and come back you spotted the Eagles 21 points that is a playoff atmosphere if you say it's not then you're not being honest with yourself you don't want to give them their flowers.

Prescott has played really good in these games but he needs help he's getting that help they're finally playing physical in all three phases They're making the extra block they're getting to the second level the running back is picking up his blocks He's getting the extra effort yards you got guys with the effort to jump on a fumble cause George Pickens in the past that's a turnover In the past when you got down this team would lose to these better teams we are playing good teams and back to back weeks getting behind and coming back is playoff football this is the way they've looked at this for the last three weeks that they can't lose another game therefore it is pressure is a playoff game I should say it's a playoff atmosphere.

Problem with the playoffs have been the team has not done this in the playoffs they've had too many penalties and the offensive line has a block there's no run game the turnovers you didn't get the calls I mean it's been a mess stop blaming Prescott it doesn't matter what you think about him he can play in games with playoff pressure and playoff atmosphere if the rest of his team helps out instead of the opposite he's been getting the opposite most of these games in the playoffs the It's been a debacle in all three phases and coaching and you blame the quarterback for not winning in the playoffs when it's been everything around him has been bad you expect him to play like Superman that's ridiculous expectations watch the games no football and realize you can't expect him to play perfectly but if you give him a team that's willing to go out and fight on every single snap in all three phases he will fight right there with them and give you his best not perfect but his best that doesn't mean you can't make a mistake that's the problem around here our quarterback makes a few mistakes and you lose a game you go back and say well that's why we lost it was his mistakes no it was not the Green Bay playoff loss in 2023 the hot the entire team didn't show up from the first series on defense until the last they were horrible in all three phases including getting out coached by a 7 seed and you're blaming Prescott.....

Wish I remember who or what show I was watching on Youtube.

They were talking about the night and day difference with GP with the steelers vs the Cowboys.

Said is the first time GP has had a steady QB and one that is a true team leader.

Also found it interesting that they think it was actually Rodgers who gave the go ahead to trade GP.

Look at the money DK is getting with the steelers to basically be a decoy and try to open up the other side of the field.

Prior to this game they also showed that GP was only about 30-50 yards shy of what the entire Steelers WR corp has at this time.

Again....if GP had a QB like this with the steelers. If he had put up these kind of numbers....no way they trade him for a third. They would get a first and then some.
If true, this would have to be gross negligence on the part of the Steelers. I could see Pickens was a top end WR. That's why I was hoping they'd extend him straight away. I said it the second he got on the roster. Megatron would have been handicapped on that Steelers team with those QBs. That doesn't mean you don't recognize the talent at WR. I get it, bean counters look at stats and stats determine your value. But a 3rd round pick for GP was a no brainer.

I guess you missed the Eagirls game. Rest of you post is spot on

Actually I own you. This post is proof. :lmao:

I know people bring this up a lot, but I never made a distinction. You face good teams in the playoffs. Whenever we got punched in the mouth early, our offense sputtered in the regular season too. Dak wasn't any different. Most of our playoff losses were against better teams. Most of our regular season losses were against the good teams. Dak and the offense aren't clamming up when they get punched in the mouth this season. They fight back. I expect that to translate over to playoffs if we make it.

He played out of his mind. I think far too many are sleeping on some of the plays headed in face of extreme duress and pressure.

His leadership was on full display. This is his team.

The Tampa game was his only good playoff game. That’s it. Not a difference maker in any other.

You can't be kind to someone that hates themselves, and that is Rockport. Yes, Dak and the TEAM won the game.
