Manny Lawson looks lost to me.
Dude has the body of Lamar Odom. He looks freakishly skinny out there.
Not agressive at all. Appears to be moving backwards most of the time instead of attacking the ball carrier.
Getting handled by any blocker that gets their hands on him.
His 2 sacks this season must of come on blown assignments.
If he was playing for Dallas fans would be screaming "bust" louder than they were about Caprenter.
Overall, though, San Fran looks like they could be a very strong team in a few years, if not sooner.
LA hasn't looked bad on the few plays I noticed either.

I have the Jets/Texans game here in Jersey.

Mario Williams is looking better and better each work.

I think this guy has huge potential and could take over some games in his future.

I haven't seen any 49er games, but thesportingnews has said that the 49ers love what he is doing and that they think he will be a great player.

Did you make this post before or after he made the interception?

The jury's still out on carpenter, but T Marcus McNeil from Auburn would have been a great pick.

I thought it was before.

C'mon guys, get your **** straight. The INT occurred on the first possession of the game.

Does the int make any difference anyway?

Does it mean, all of the sudden, Lawson is a god or something?

D ware did more his rookie season then Lawson has shown.
There was never any question that Ware > Lawson. That wasn't the debate.

No, but it means he isn't lost. It wasn't like the INT fell into his lap. It was a good play.

Thanks.
No I didn't see the int before I posted.
The guy looks weak out there. He doesn't look any better than Carpenter and he has the benefit of more playing time.
Are the 49'ers going to say anything bad about a 1st round draft choice they made?

Well if it doesn't, then why reply with "Was this before or after he got his int"?

Even Tony Dixon had an int during his career.

Not saying Lawson is great or horrible, just that 1 int doesn't change anything. Lavar Arrington has made lots of plays in his career, despite being lost most of the time.

Lawson made a very good play on an INT. This guy posts that he looks lost just a little while later. I'm not saying he's great or horrible, either, but I think it's safe to say this was a dumb thread.

Did you even read my previous post?

It IS possible to make a good play every now and then and STILL be lost. Did you not catch my Lavar Arrington example?
