That is with an explosive offense... And that's after Romo and Felix get healthy and Roy11 gets comfortable with the offense.

I think it is pretty clear our defense will suck. Ever since the Saints beat us a couple of years ago, this defense has been average to horrible. Getting Newman back will certainly help us, but it won't prevent teams from rushing for 160 yards every game. I am not sure it is all Stewart's fault, I think we are just missing talent. When we go on a nickel or dime, we don't get enough pressure and our corners get beat easily. It doesn't matter if it's man or zone.. actually zone probably covers our deficiencies a little bit more, and that's why the coaches use it. The defense will suck all year.

Special teams are beyond salvation... The players suck, and Read has no clue what to do.

Our only hope is the offense. I do feel Garrett and Romo can still get it done. Garrett needs to involve Felix and Roy11. And Romo needs to get his act together. I am not saying this will happen, but it's always a possibility. We've seen Romo bounce back from bad games... our offense has never sucked for extended periods of time.

We will have to win shootouts starting week 11 and hope it is good enough to get into the playoffs.

No offense but that is a lot of "What If's".

The NFC is much tougher this year-it's going to be ALOT tougher for ANYONE to get into the playoffs.

Look at the NFCS-they have THREE very good teams(one NOT being the Saints). Look at the NFCN-both the Bears and Packers are very competitive. And the Cards are no slouch either.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the NFCE only sent their own divisional winner to the playoffs.

I still think many of our defense's problems are due to the schemes we employ. I have a hard time believing we have a talent deficiency considering the free agents and high draft picks we've brought in. Yes, you miss on some, but not all of them. Our defensive players lack heart, smarts, and coaching, but not physical talent. Unfortunately one our of four won't get it done.

I disagree.

We won't go anywhere unless our D steps up. They need to start playing like than are capable of. There is no way they should be giving up points as fast as a pinball machine can rack them up.
