Qb protection has generally been bad, so don’t really see the teams being much better than us in that department

bucs looked terrible … were so lucky to not get blown out as the rams made so many mistakes

Rogers couldn’t find anyone open. 9ers have a great zone scheme and good dline

biggest difference I see is making sure you have explosive running backs on the field and can run the ball in key spots. And you need a short passing game and QBs who can run for key 1st downs. And you need good fg kickers because the games are going to be close.

those arguing our biggest issue was oline or pass projection … that hasn’t really shown as the biggest issue when comparing these final 4 teams. Nobody can block that well.

my take away: have two rb who are explosive, focus more on short passing game. Dak better be able to run the ball some or we won’t win. Get more physical at the point of attach on both lines, but it isn’t as bad as you guys are making it sound. We also need a LB like Bolton of KC. Need more creativity to get lamb, Cooper the ball on quick/short passes (not screens).

If we had the O-Line we were supposed to then even with dinged up Elliot and Pollard they could have shared the load if a competent HC or OC knew how to use them. Our WR are good enough. And our Defense was good enough to take us there. Quinn needed to go after jimmy instead of setting back. Run blitz… They had the talent but the coaching rode on the back of the talent and the talent was over confident..

I do think the offensive coaching sucked the last part of season.

At a certain point it stops being about the coaches and more about the players. There's a culture in Dallas where these guys think they are better than what they really are and precedes MM.

When Zeke is criticized when tells people he only cares about the guy signing the check. Dak gets criticized he believes in his preparation so no changes are necessary. Even Jaylon that couldn't read the ABCs on the field considered himself elite. Gotta clean house and bring actual players that are hungry and don't anoint themselves as winners without winning a thing

It’s a parity league. No team is that much better than the other. The league is built for teams to be equal and defenses to be bad.


What gets us is we paid guys who don’t perform in big moments and you’re probably right about coaching.

The Rams gave up the farm for Matt Stafford and in a big moment he stepped up and now they’re moving on.

you keep saying it’s a parity league except the niners were In the super bowl 2 years ago, the chiefs just recently won a super bowl and made it to 4 straight afc championship games. The rams were in a super bowl recently and have been in the playoffs/contenders for a few years now and the bills have been knocking on the door as well.

The only completely out of left field team left is the bengals who 1) have a stud wr and franchise quarterback and 2) likely get beat next week. Parity in the nfl means you can win 5 games one year and 11 the next but the teams who go on deep playoff runs and super bowls usually have been there or knocking on the door for several years.

Dak is belongs in the circle. Heck, if Ryan Tannehill and Jimmy G. is part of the group why not Dak?

Zeke should be part of that circle. But he absolutely sucks. There is no player that is more disappointing this year than Zeke.

All the coaches are better than Mike McCarthy. We were out coached against the Niners. And we would certainly be outcoached by any of the coaches you listed.

Those 4 teams deservingly belong on the upper etchlon. I somewhat agree with what your saying though. We have a long road ahead to be part of that elite group.

You didn't even mention the most important part. The O and D lines. Skill player are rendered useless if you get dominated in the trenches.
