Hard to say “not even close” when the team that beat us by 6 points, on a day when we are griping about the whole team underperforming, went on to beat the #1 seed and is playing in the NFC title game. Just because they choked with poor play and insane penalties in round 1, doesn’t mean we are not even close. I think we would have to take a total beat down like the Eagles and Patriots to say we aren’t even close.

I recall in the 2014 wildcard game at AT&T Stafford and his Lions jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter, and were still ahead of the Cowboys at the start of the 4th.
