Denver couldn't play dead on offense today. The Cowboys D gets some credit for that, but it was also sloppy play on their part (stupid penalties and the like).
A good team whups Denver today by a mile, and doesn't have to worry about inches.
Before the game I said these were both fringe playoff teams. Now I seriously doubt either team will make the cut. Denver's record will eventually reflect their mediocrity. My heart will hold out hope for Dallas, but I really don't see it happening.
If memory serves, Dallas has been close to a .500 squad since the "big" victory over GB. There's no reason to think they're anything more than that.
