I expect the game to be fairly close till about the 3rd quarter....most division games are. The Skins have absolutely nothing to lose so we should expect to see their best shot.

On the other hand, today has been a day for the most part where some of the best QB's have really lit it up. Big Ben, Luck, Brady and a couple others.....maybe Romo will follow suit.

I asked you this once already but you ignored it. I will try again: Do you think Griffin will play in this game?

That question wasn't directed at me but I'll give you my opinion. Every indication points to RG3 not playing. Washington appears to want to go with McCoy because he gave them a spark last week and they're hoping he can pick up where he left off with a hot hand tomorrow night. With as desperate a situation as the Commanders are in if McCoy were to struggle it's not out of the realm of possibility that Washington would turn to RG3 in hopes he could give them a spark. It's not likely because he's still not 100% and his history is that he has to be just right to be effective.

He hasn't practiced much so they would be taking a gamble throwing him in but their season will be practically done with a loss. Barring a collapse by Philly or the Cowboys one of those teams will win the division and the other will be a wildcard. To realistically gain a wildcard Washington can do no worse than 9-7 and if they end up 2-6 after Monday Nights game going 7-1 the remainder of the season isn't going to happen. That's one prediction I won't get wrong this season. :)

Yeah, it isn't likely that he'll play. I have seen a few Commander fans (around here, not on the Internet) who think Washington is playing coy about Griffin and that they'll spring Bob on the Cowboys after Dallas has prepared for McCoy. They feel confident that Griffin will come in and the Commanders will surprise Dallas. So, I was just wondering if this particular Commander fan was thinking similar to them.

Frankly, if Griffin isn't 100%, it would be truly foolish to put him in before he's ready. I could see them wanting to bring in Griff for a boost if the game was in DC... but in Dallas, I think it is pretty unlikely.

Thanks for answering, even though I wasn't talking to you. Never can have too many opinions.

I agree...I think they will turn to Cousins if anything. It appears some gamemanship is going on with RG3...I don't know how much the Cowboys should fear him even if he does play because his game will be slower from not playing due to injury. Moreover, the gameplan they employed against Wilson should be equally effective if they do put RG3 out there. However, I don't think that they will compromise him if they are behind by double-digits. The guy is the franchise's best hope for the future. Rushing him back to try and salvage a lost game/season seems less than prudent. But...I guess we shall see.

as a football fan I come to warn Cowboys nation that the heavily favored Cowboys better be on upset alert...nobody is given the skins a chance in hell to win Monday night...the skins are in the top 10 on offense and defense in the nfl...this doesn't look like a 2 n 5 team to me..,there turnovers has been the difference...now to my point,if the skins can play turnover free ball they will beat the Cowboys and shock all the naysayers..the Cowboys don't get sacks and they don't create turnovers...looking at the numbers by both teams this reak's of a upset..Enjoy the game folks!!

If things start going bad with McCoy I doubt Washington goes back to Cousins. His confidence has to be pretty shaken after being yanked last week. He's had 11 turnovers this season and that's not the guy you want to be turning to if this game starts going sour. Although he's been productive the Skins aren't winning games with him he's 1-4 this season. They'll either sink with McCoy or turn to RG3 if they get desperate for a spark.

The reason the Skins are top 10 in fewest yards allowed in the NFL is because they are -9 in turnover differential. They are simultaneously ranked 25th in average points allowed per game. This is why average yards allowed per game doesn't always tell the whole story.

Like a fine wine my opinions get's better with age...it's now October 2014..

So how are your predictions on the season for your 2 and 5 Commanders? Is this only the 3rd time this year you have predicted a win?
