Relying on McCoy says it all, though lol...I'm chalking this season up to seeing if Griffin rebounds from injury and improves, and little else. Still have that portion of my fandom, though, that spends time imagining an upset over the Cowboys.

Top 10 in yds per game on offense. Who cares. They are #23 in pts per game. And #24 in pts per game on defense. As for turnovers. Washington has 15, Dallas 13. So that is a wash.

These are the type of games that worry me the most where everyone is picking the Cowboys to win against a struggling team. One of the reasons the Cowboys have been so good this season is because everyone was so down on them at the start. All the negative talk motivated them. The best game the Cowboys played this season was a game everyone was picking them to lose in Seattle. Some of the best, most memorable games the Cowboys have played through the years were in games they were the underdog. They went up to Washington in 91 to face an 11-0 Commander team and were given no chance but pulled off the upset. Many weren't giving the Cowboys a chance vs the Niners in the 92 NFC title game feeling they were still a year away but they pulled off the upset. No one was giving the Cowboys a chance vs the 13-0 Saints in 09 but once again they pulled off the upset.

Monday Nights game vs Washington will be another test for this Cowboys team to see if they can remain focused and motivated against a struggling 2 win team that will likely be starting their 3rd string QB. Washington needs this game a lot more than the Cowboys so the Cowboys have to be ready to play. The Cowboys should win this game but hopefully they haven't been reading their press clippings because this is the NFL and anything can happen on any given Sunday, Monday Night or Thursday Night. You can never take any team for granted especially a team that's in desperate need of a win.

You have to be prepared for everything from an unexpected onside kick to a trick play just look what St Louis pulled on Seattle. Although Washington is 2-5 they've been competitive for the most part this season and have 2 big play speed receivers so they can't be taken lightly. Jackson put up 157 yards vs Seattle and has averaged over 20 yards a catch this season. I mentioned in another post the only way I see the Cowboys losing this game is by committing turnovers and giving up some big plays. The Cowboys can't allow Washington to have any easy scores and to gain confidence or they could end up in a real dogfight.

I guess someone hasn't seen McCoy try to play QB in the NFL before. Seriously even if you where full strength we've beaten better teams, you're nothing to worry about

I think that we should beat them but then again even when they are bad the skins get up to play the cowboys. The fact that they could beat a rival team who is on a roll while they are struggling may motivate them to play above themselves.

Remember team giving Gibbs that gatorade bath for beating us in a regular season MNF game? We are like their Superbowl at times.

We can't take a division bitter rival easy, the skins don't give up too many yards and are a good run defense. The thing is they don't make too many yards and score often , so they are losing games. But if McCoy plays with a game plan , plays turnover free we will hav a game. D needs to come to play and O should be ready for initial resistance, Haslett always plays us well

It is pro football, everybody has a chance. Highly doubt the 4skins win though.
