1. Number one ..... Fire Wade and either promote Garrett or Hire Shanahan or Holmgren. Find a DC with a killer instinct.

2. I wanted Pac and Tank gone ..... looks like that will happen.

3. Fire Bruce Reed ...... already happened.

4. Fire Wade Wilson and get a new QB coach to help Romo on his mistakes.

5. Have a MANDATORY extra long QB camp to get Romo and ALL his receivers on the same page. Bring in ALL of our young CB's to help and get them extra practice as well.

6. Focus on getting ALL 3 of our RB's into the gameplan this year .... nothing should be more important than utilizing the amazing amount of talent we have there. This should be stressed by whichever head coach we bring in or promote.

7. Tell Ellis he is a backup or let his agent look for a favorable trade. Spencer should be the starter next year.

8. No HBO ....... No extra TV shows ..... No players shows or blogs ..... the opening of the new stadium (and hopefully a new coach) will be plenty of publicity.

9. Jerry Jones needs to become a little camera shy. I know he will never relinquish an inch of decision making power .... and I do not blame him .....but let the new coach be the face of the Boys for a while.

10. Make it team policy to give NOTHING to the news reporters. Mandatory shut down ..... fine the hell out of any player that gives an opposing team "locker room material" or any reporter "dirt" on a teammate. Do not care if its Owens, Crayton, Newman, or even Witten ...... I am talking a nice big fine.

Now ....... fire away.

A lot of these have happened or will happen. The one I am most worried about is number 1 on your list. I want Wade gone ASAP and I hope Jerry realizes this before it is too late.

That first one is the one with probably the smallest chance of ever happening.

Nos. 8 and 9 are the ones with the least chance of happening, IMO.

Can't.

You can only do 14 days of organized team practice activity in the off-season. You also can't do any bumping or tackling in any of them.

Also, only QBs or injured vets can take part in organized activities immediately before the training camp, so you couldn't do it then either.

You can only do ONE minicamp for vets, and it can only be three days long.

No blocking, no hitting, no bump and run at minicamps.

If they're going to get on the same page, it's going to be at training camp or voluntary in Tony's backyard.

Tony's back yard.
:star:

TO you go to Craytons SUV and do a post.
Crayton you go to the Escalade and hard slant.
Williams... Do a 3 yard button hook.
Witten - just run a route and I will throwo it to you.

while jessica is sun bathing? i can see it now..." Cowboys Wideout Roy Williams has a broken nose as he was practicing in Quarterback Tony Romo's back yard when he got distracted by starlette Simpson and failed to catch the ball..."

Garret is a dud with the creativity of a tick and whats wrong with Bryan Steward?

2. I wanted Pac and Tank gone ..... looks like that will happen.

Because both were paid top dollar.

3. Fire Bruce Reed ...... already happened.

Join that bandwagon with everyone else.

4. Fire Wade Wilson and get a new QB coach to help Romo on his mistakes.

You can't coach underthrowing balls into triple coverage.

5. Have a MANDATORY extra long QB camp to get Romo and ALL his receivers on the same page. Bring in ALL of our young CB's to help and get them extra practice as well.

Good luck.

6. Focus on getting ALL 3 of our RB's into the gameplan this year .... nothing should be more important than utilizing the amazing amount of talent we have there. This should be stressed by whichever head coach we bring in or promote.

Choice will get three carries a game.

Agree

Jerry wont have any of that. He must promote.

9. Jerry Jones needs to become a little camera shy. I know he will never relinquish an inch of decision making power .... and I do not blame him .....but let the new coach be the face of the Boys for a while.

Will never happen

Info given by Carpenter and Witten to Jimmy Sexton to Ed Werder should be $100,000 fine
;)

See above..

It really is unfortunate, IMO, that we will never have a GM in Dallas. To me, that is a huge part of the problem. You just can't have other players or coaches going to Jerry, which you know happens, instead of making things flow through the HC and or GM.

Honestly, not enamoured with either Jason Garrett or Romo, at present...Some of the criticisms on Romo are beginning to have some traction for me as it being somewhat apparent in several games this season.

For one, Tony seems to zero in on 1 or 2 options when passing rather than going through his progressions...Otherwise, it's hard to explain his proclivity for freezing out wide open options in the passing game...There has been a disconnect between the receivers and Tony...We've seen several routes this season where two receivers ended up in the same area or Tony throwing into areas where no receivers were around...Inability to throw a ball away properly without getting a grounding call or simply avoiding the sack...The dreaded 'potential' is there obviously but it's more than just the play calling or this or that receiver perhaps not running the route...Some of this is very clearly on Romo.

As for Garrett, I complained about this last season despite such a high octane offense for most of the season...Even leading up to the December slide of '07, Garrett wasn't making the adjustments in the 2nd half that he did earlier in the season...The offense got sluggish and very predictable...Same thing happened for large portions of the 08 season before yet another dreaded December slide for '08...Not sure he's the boy genius he was touted to be...Maybe it's still there but I'm less sure about him as the Cowboys OC nevermind as a HC for someone.

Camp Cupcake has to now have been identified as a source of serious failings for the longterm of the franchise...Hitting will have to re-enter into practices as will finding captains that lead and not silent ones who are alleged to lead 'by example'.

Trade Ellis or Spencer but this Ellis issue has to be resolved and not allowed to be a distraction in the future.

Penalties, Mental breakdowns and lack of effort...Not sure how you don't indict the HC for things like these...Things that are a ongoing and glaring problem...But, hey, Jerry has demonstrated many times he does it 'his way'...The D performed better under Wade but still collapsed like a flan in a cupboard in December...If Wade doesn't go then Stewart should be sent packing and a new DC should be in place...Still, no idea how this current staff intends to correct these same problems of penalties, mental breakdowns and lack of effort...I'm not very optimistic about that magically changing

Jerry spent a lot of money on that face. He's not about to keep it from the view of an admiring public.
