Think we can go 4-0?

I know you shouldn't look ahead, bla bla...

I know this is the NFL, so any given Sunday, bla bla...

But it's impossible to look at the next few games and not get excited about the very real possibility of starting the season 4-0.

@ the Chiefs. Vs the Rams. @ the Chargers.

We are simply better than all three teams and should beat each of them.

Can we please just worry about the Chiefs....One game at a time...If we a lot to work on....And be careful about this Chief game..

I think the Chiefs give us all we can handle next week. And the Rams are better than the Chiefs. We should win both games, but losing one or both wouldn't shock me, either.

Unfortunately, if they DON'T go 4-0 then they are really going to be in for a battle. The NFL really has gotten to the point where except for maybe 1 or 2 Jacksonville-type doormats, every team is good enough to put up a strong fight, especially at home. Our schedule, as usual, looks pretty daunting... with maybe only the Oakland game possibly being an "easy" one. Meanwhile, you've got to love our "reward" for the third place finish... at New Orleans! :)

No. This team isn't good enough to win 4 straight against anybody.

could be 4-0 but realistically i see this team being 3-1 when they play Denver. Cheifs and Rams both looked like tough outs yesterday particularly the former on the road. Hoping this team grows on a week to week basis and continues to get better, I don't predict another 6 takeaway game this season so the offense needs to get in sync and in a hurry.

I get annoyed and tired of hearing Garrett, and players parroting him, doing the cliche old stack one day on top of another and one game at a time...but that is how I see this team until otherwise.

Take one game at a time.

Next week we could all be standing on the edge after a bad game and this feeling could be the other way around with someone posting...will we win any of the next few game threads.

Looking at the schedule, we need to be 3-1, at least, after the first month.

I completely expected to get this feedback. It's standard, and I know it's the correct mentality of certainly the team but also of fans. I'm just saying, c'mon, it's hard not to get excited at the opportunity here.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves now. Should/could we be 4-0? Absolutely, but this is the NFL...teams are just too talented and upsets happen every week. I remember the same thread popping up a year ago and we go 2-2 with a shaky win against the Bucs

Let's just focus on the chiefs

how does one theory trump another, what if we focus on the chiefs and still lose, do we look to conquer an off day?

exactly, you dont think other teams and fans are doing it, if i was a San Fran fan, id be saying 16-0 is a possibility. Most likely not, but hey, im not winning the lottery tomorrow and i still play it sometimes.

I remember a Seattle team that we thought we would go in and dominate as well in week 2. How did that one turn out?

Right now only concerned with going 2-0. I'm sure Dallas will be favored next week but KC is not an easy place to play. Reid will have them ready Cowboys need to focus on getting to 2-0

Yep. I don't want to be 2-2 going into that Denver game. Lose that game and we are right back in the same situation we have been the last 2 seasons. Chasing .500 and playing desperate. This team needs to get off to a good start and give yourself some breathing room for later on in the season.

Why would they be favored on the road? I don't see them being favored at all

We won't go 4-0 playing like we did last night. I'd be surprised if the Chiefs turn the ball over more than once - maybe twice. But they're not going to pass for 450 yards either. Should be another close game....I'll delighted if we can just make it to 2-0. Think we'll be 3-1 after 4 games.

Seattle was coming off a lose. So they were playing a little more desperately and we played very sloppy from the start in that game. It is a little similar to last year but I don't think we'll be overlooking KC like it looked like we did against Seattle.

Hard to get excited over last nights performance. We got 6 turnovers and barely won the game. Couldnt stop their pass offense and we couldn't run the ball or move the offense consistently. Special teams did all right.

Yeah, they looked pretty good yesterday and Andy Reid knows Dallas inside and out at this point.

Harris was a beast on special teams last night. I hope they get him more involved in the offense though.
