Fellas, Beast thinks this 3 game road trip will decide the season and accordingly, Bledslow's future with the team. 4 possible scenarios:

1. We win all 3---not very likely, it is almost impossible for teams to sweep a 3 game road trip in the NFL. If we do sweep this road trip, we have an outstanding chance at a bye and Bledslow plays out the season. Bears will have homefield thanks to that cheesecake schedule of theirs, jeez did they pay off the new commish for that schedule?

2. We go 2-1, which Beast thinks is probably most likely to happen. We will be sitting pretty for the division titile and Bledslow most likely plays out the season barring a major meltdown.

3. We go 1-2, probably looking at a wildcard at best and Bledslow's days are numbered. Probably will not finish season as starter.

4. We drop all three games-----season will be over fellas, put the fire out, call in the dogs, the hunt is over. Romo finishes the season out and Bledslow retires at end of year.

That is the way Beast sees it.;)

i can't find a hole in your theory. although premise #4 may be the shakiest. hard to imagine parcells "throwing in the towel" nine games into a season.

cuz if bledsoe is still healthy and romo starts - it'll be completely un-parcells-like. but at that point... bledsoe ain't too likely to be healthy.

"three game road trip". try to keep up "lowtech" as this is where you'll need your blue crayon and a piece of paper.

i believe the next game, game six, is a "home-game" against the giants. that means it's played in texas stadium. most of the cowboys' players don't live AT the stadium - so sure they must travel ROADS to get there. however, that doesn't make it a "road game".

afterwards, they will play three straight "road games". that's where they don't drive to the game - they get in a winged vehicle that travels thru the air not on the road. confusing, huh?

after this three-game "road stretch" they will have played how many games?

now take out your crayon and paper. at the top draw a big "6". just below that draw a big "3". now add those two quantities. if done correctly you arrive at the sum of games the cowboys will have played at the end of the big "road trip".

now bring it on home - you can do it.

use your fingers if you must.

why are we wasting out time on this post.

agreed

Didnt know discussing the Boyz 3 game road trip and how it will affect the future of the team, ie QB, is a waste of time.

Usually fans DISCUSS on a DISCUSSION BOARD.:lmao:

I want to modify your thread.... what if you go by the next 4 games

we split 2-2
our record 5-4

then what... keep riding mediocrity with Drew or see if Romo can do better

this scenario is a real possibility based on our play

Whew! Great objective analysis! I couldn't see the agenda against Bledslow... I mean Bledsoe at all.
