We will handle our business in NYC; we should have no probs with the extra motivation (thank you Shockey and Burress). Carolina could definitely lose in Philly (Philly's due to win), Seattle should lose in Denver, Aints could lose at SF, and even the re-energized Skins could take care of the Falcons @ FedEx. The only negative is that Da Bears should win at home against the Vikes...but ya never know!

If the Cowboys win this weekend those other games will not matter much. Dallas would be looking at a 2 game cusion for the NFC East with 4 games to play

wow. I wish I had your optomism. You realize, for starters, Cutler is starting for Denver. If I had a farm, I would bet the Saints do not lose to the 9ers.
JMO of course...........

Yup, our game is huge... not thinking too much bout anyone else. You'll either have a 2 game lead or be in 2nd place cause of the tie-breaker. Almost like a 3 game swing depending on the outcome.

The inability to win "must win" games the last few years have reminded me of the way things were in the mid to late 60s when they always lost the big games and were always a bridesmaid but never a bride. Finally, after they had more than paid their dues, they won the Super Bowl. Let's hope this new bunch have paid their dues and are now ready to take charge of things instead of just react to what the other team does. Romo has the right attitude that Bledsoe didn't and a few extra skills as well.

Life is good.
If they win, life is better.
If they lose, to hell with 'em; life is still good.

Listen... I understand people rooting for the Skins over the Panthers last week. I'll give you a "pass" on that.

But it has to stop now!

There's no purpose in rooting for them over the Falcons. The Falcons aren't doing anything this year. And if we take care of our business, we should finish a full 2-3 games over them.

If the Redsk*ns win this game, however, their fans will become increasingly insufferable as the weeks go on. They're already convinced that they can make the playoffs and that Campbell is some kind of saviour.

So, in summary, the Redsk*ns are the devil. No more rooting for them!!! I mean it!

How about we flat out dont care. We play the Saints, THe eagles, The Falcons, and The Gints.

THe only two teams we dont play that stand in our way is the Seahawks,a dn bears

if we handle our business and win out, then we should lock up second seed, and have homefield up till Chicgago, which has proven

1) can be beaten
2) can be beaten in the playofss (last year ring any bells)

SO instead of saying this tema that team. We should care only for the cowboys winning. Because in the end WE control our own destiny.

I agree! One game at a time. And need only worry about what the Cowboys do from here on out.

Dallas' playoff goal at this point should be the #2 seed. The bye week is an important advantage in the playoffs.

Winning the rest of the games would only guarantee that Dallas gets the # 3 seed (assuming Chicago doesn't melt-down). Therefore, I'm rooting for whomever plays Seattle, but we partuculary need them to lose to an NFC team.

I also would have absolutely no problem if the Commanders win out, despite my disdain for them. They only play teams that we'd want to lose (Atl, NO, PHI, StL & NYG), and every victory driops them lower in the draft order. If they need a win this weekend to get some momentum going for their final 2 division games (both @ FEDEX), so be it.
