i thought i would post this, this may help the cowboys in the 3rd or 4th round, if the texans lose a draft pick due to violations, i got this off of www.gbnreport.com

Texans sweating pick penalty… The brouhaha in Houston over allegations that three players suffered season-ending injuries doing illegal drills in organized team activities (OTA) has the Texans a little worried they could lose a draft pick if the charges hold up. Veteran OG Dan Stevenson and C Chukky Okobi were injured during last year’s mini-camp, while OT Jordan Black was injured during an off-season workout when players allegedly were told to participate in one-on-one pass-rush drills despite not being in full pads. As spelled out in the collective bargaining agreement, there is a one-week’s loss of OTA time for a first violation in an off-season training session, while for a second violation during a league year, a team can lose a fourth-round draft pick. Because there was no prior charge against the Texans regarding OTAs, they likely wouldn’t lose a pick, however, because no penalty is spelled out in the collective bargaining agreement for violations during mini-camp, the Texans could still be at risk. Grievances filed by players are heard by independent arbitrators and are supposed to be expedited, but its not clear that this issue will be resolved before the 2009 draft.
