And the pressure from guys like Ware, Ellis and our DL rotation has been a huge factor in that.

Anthony Henry and Terrence Newman are #1 and #2 respectively in the NFC among CBs in INTs. (Trufant, Hall and Woodson are tied for 2nd). This is despite both of them missing multiple games due to injury. Of the other CBs listed, only Woodson missed any time, last night's game being his first due to injury.

Ken Hamlin leads all NFC safeties in INTs.

Henry and Hamlin have 11 PDs, Newman and Reeves have 10 apiece.

It's really amazing. Across the board, these players have stepped their game up. Being young, there's no reason this trend can't continue. It's an exciting time.

YEAP, and just think about the INT that we missed when Henry and Watkins were fighting over the ball......we could've had 3 in the game

Heh....you don't catch the football with your face, Pat.

That play actually got me really excited. That's the first time I've seen Pat look like an athletic, playmaking free safety. He located the ball, got in position, and went up for it at it's highest point. If he continues to develop that, look out.

I had made a similiar point last night in this thread:

In 12 games:

Ellis 10.5 sacks (missed 3 games)
Ware 10 sacks
Henry 5 int's (missed 2 games and played sparringly for a couple more)
Hamlin 5 Int's
Tnew=4 INt's (missed 2 games and played sparringly in 1)

All rank in the top 5 for those categories.

This defense is still learning to play Wade's scheme and will only get better!!

Wade's scheme is really starting to pay dividends. If we remain healthy and I think we twill see alot of these stats increase exponentially as all of the Players continue to improve and gain confidence.

The biggest factor is the offense. It forces teams to play from behind and get one dimensional and play high risk/high reward football, which then leads to turnovers and sacks (and yards and points allowed).

I mean, really, it's entirely possible the Cowboys could end the year with 2nd most points scored in a 16 game season. Passing the 1983 Commanders (currently 2nd) and 2000 Rams (currently 3rd) is entirely feasible at this piont. I don't really see anyway we could pass the 1998 Vikings unless we scored 40 points a game for the remaining 4 games. Of course, New England is probably going to shatter them all.

Our last few games, we;ve really shaken the whole "can't score til the second quarter" thing. I'm sure if we charted it our TO's and sacks are going up over that same span. Both units help each other.

Jerry needs to get his checkbook out and resign Hamlin first thing this off-season. I think he's made a big difference in the secondary.

This is one of the most complete Cowboys squad I have seen in quite some time.

Personally, I think the best part of this Cowboys team is the Offensive Line.

I wanted to upload the video where the NFLN had zoomed in on Romo with his Ball Cap on backwards and Cris Collisworth jokingly said that Romo hadn't even broken a sweat.

I don't know about Woodson, but I just don't see KGB having a big impact because the OLine was hungry last night.

They are all so good, I have no idea which one is my favorite :D .

They keep harping on how Flo has trouble with speed rushers, but in all honesty - he eats them up. This is his best season ever - it's amazing and exciting. I haven't watched a tackle in the NFL who plays as well as Flo has this year.

Pat is a beast. I simply don't worry about him back there. Who remembers his pick @ Atlanta last year off Shaub to seal the game. He looked like a receiver! He shoulda picked that Favre ball off though. That's the difference between us being a dominant team. That drive stayed alive and I believe they got points off it.

If Romo hasn't already done so, it's time for him to take his OL out to dinner. That's something Aikman used to do in appreciation of those games where the OL didn't allow him to be sacked. Since Packs didn't sack Romo last night, I think Romo should show some kind of appreciation gesture tpwards his OL.
