I am so sick and tired of people thinking or wanting Garrett to get fired. Jason Garrett is not getting fired he is building this team into a champion. I'm sorry it is not happening overnight like many of you want it to be, I understand your impatience, I am a very impatient person myself. But we (yes I'm including myself) cannot do anything but be patient, because we cannot do anything about fixing the Cowboys. Garrett will fix this team, he is doing it. He still has work to do, he still has some weeding out to do. There are still some players that does not get it. We have a few high profile players that disappear when they really need to show up, and if we were to move them it would send a message to the team. I do not care about what the Boys did in the past, other than the 50yrs or more of winning tradition they have established the trophies, but games like the 09 victory of the saints mean nothing, it has no effect on the game to be played on Sunday., but on Sunday we will hand the Broncos their first defeat and that victory will slingshot this team closer to the level or that level that we all want them to be.

Keep convincing yourself of that while the Cowboys keep racking up 8-8 seasons.

He is a she. I'm female & I don't know which Thomas is which but he's good!

You're probably thinking about Demaryius Thomas he's the most notable and productive Thomas on the Broncos and their big play threat. Below is the play he made vs the Steelers in the 2011 playoffs.

That was one of the all time worst. Isnt that the game that was in the silver linings movie ?

I knew there was a reason I avoided that movie, seems like Bradley Cooper was wearing a Eagles jersey in the trailers, how the hell does that lame *** franchise get so many pop culture references?

How about the flip side.

Peyton thinking about how the cowboys ruined his attempt at perfect season back then?

You see I thought this same thing when I came back from the San Diego game trying to be optimistic, but one of my roommates(Broncos Fan) told me what they did to Eagles. I mean I'm going to be optimistic as hell leading up to the game as a Saints shocker pt. 2, but if Peyton basically Peyton's us, I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm not sure if that was the game. I didn't see the movie. That's the game Romo got beat the crap out of. His QB rating was like 10 or something like that.

Yea that's him. Thanks. He's got to love having Peyton around.

I already said in another thread that Denver hasn't been tested yet. They have had three home games and the toughest opponent was a weak Balt team(at home). Of course, I could still say that after Sunday if we lose badly. Their schedule looks like a cakewalk with maybe three tougher games left....at KC, Hou and NE. I just wonder what AFC can beat them in Denver to keep them from reaching the big game.
The problem thinking that Denver has not played anyone good yet is they have beaten all 4 of those teams averaging 45 points a game. The only game they scored under 40 was the Raiders game. Heck they put up 41 points in Giants Stadium. There beating teams by an average of 22 points each game.

I can buy into the weak team thing if some of the games were close, but they're blowing these "weak" teams out.

If Dallas wins I expect more excuses of why Denver did not play well from some Cowboy fans more so than Denver fans. lol
If Dallas pulls off a win, then they better play near perfect ball, something they have not shown to do even when they win convincingly. If they do that, then they deserve credit where credit is due. There should be no excuses if Dallas wins.

Not disputing the fact that they blow teams out. There is a difference between not being tested(my stance) and not playing anyone good(not my stance). Three games in the thin air and one against a putrid NYG team is not being tested yet. That time may not come until week 12 starting with NE. Their game at Indy in a few weeks might be a good one but I suspect Manning will be ready to roll.

I think we're going to come out and play well. I still think we'll probably lose, but I think it'll be another good game.

I am so tired of hearing people use the Saints game from 4 years ago as some kind of reason as to why the Cowboys will beat Denver. If the Cowboys do win this game, which I seriously doubt, it won't have a thing to do with what happened 4 years ago in New Orleans. These are two different teams in two very different situations.

We've been pretty good against Peyton, IIRC.

I don't think it's open and shut.

We get down by two TDs though and its over.

I know this isn't remotely the same team but hear me out, its oddly similar.
In 2009 we came off a big loss to the chargers, pretty much cementing our non likelihood of making the playoffs. Nobody had us winning the saints game. We were just suppose to lay down and the let the saints steam roll us. But they didn't, and handed the saints there first loss of the season.

Now this week we came off a disappointing loss to the chargers, and were now facing an undefeated Super bowl favorite team. There's no way we should win this game every one is proclaiming, the team should just sit the starters and treat it as a bye week.

How ever, I have an odd feeling about this game. I think history is about to repeat itself. Im saying 35-31 cowboys.

However, would not be surprised if it was a flat out blow out by Denver, and jj fires Garrett

in fans minds maybe. 2009 has nothing to do with 2013. right now we are playing like crap and haven't gotten any better. denver isclicking on all cylinders. denver 38-13

what's the line on this game?

I think it's one very good team against one trying to find an identity. The Broncos should win easily. But that's why they play the games. And we do have that secret sauce. Even Peyton doesn't have that.

Why are we always trying to find an identity?
