This feels a lot like 2008 all over again

Coming off a great regular season year and coming so close to advancing to the NFC Championship, and then having high expectations going into the following season. Seeing a lot of dumb mental mistakes on the field. Injury to Tony Romo and having to watch a backup quarterback dink n dunk passes ala Brad Johnson. Getting hit with the injury bug to key players like in 08, and lack of focus and discipline. Taking chances on players with troubled pasts off the field. Just seems so eerily similar.

I was thinking the same thing. I think we drafted Smith the following year with the 9th pick. Hopefully that will not happen because we have the more talent and the mental toughness to overcome bette than we did in 2008.

Tyron was drafted in 2011, we traded the 2009 pick for Roy Williams in what would become the infamous "special teams draft".

It doesn't to me, yet. This is crazy, taking one body blow after another after another. I can't remember a season like this.

I do think we get a chance to put it all together, though before it's over. Hopefully, the team rallies and starts playing better across the board.

I honestly think we go on a 2006 Steeler like tear the last 6 games of the year. We will have most of our key players back and a very soft schedule

Washington and NY are mediocre at best. GB will be a tough game and Buffalo will come down to earth once Taylor s exposed

Brad Johnson is the worst qb I have ever watched..pro, college, high school, kids throwing passes in the park. You name it, Brad Johnson was abismal.

Win loss is a team stat. Not an individual one. Weeden has played well enough to win either start.
