Either we are going to have to get a new QB or someone is going to have to coach Tony Romo. Face it, Romo got less than half a season of coaching as a starter under Parcells and then for some reason he was annointed a savior less than half way through last year. Since that point, it seems like he has gotten no coaching whatsoever. He has been treated as a football god by the coaching staff and front office who seem almost afraid to coach a "star."

So either we get a new QB and start over or we get someone in here to coach Tony up. He has talent, but he needs to learn accountability and responsibility as well as game management. This current coaching staff can't do it. Given the money we now have invested in Tony, I would say we are going to have to try to coach him up. That said, it won't happen in one offseason.

Now, Tony is far from the only problem with this team. We now have the 2nd highest paid WR in the league who appears to not know what he is doing and no 1st round pick. Out team is fraught with discipline and intelligence problems. In any event, it is going to take a while to turn this team around. Last year was our best shot to win a championship and we blew it.

Not according to Jerry, this team is ready to compete now.

Tony Romo was playing very well when he got that fat contract so I don't think it was a mistake.

I think Tony Romo could have used another season on Bill Parcells. I know he supposedly learned alot from Vinny Testeverde, but Bill Parcells would have been able to guide him better.

The sad part is that I thought the franchise was turned around and now we may have to start over again.

Also, I am not ready to give up on Tony Romo yet. Next year, will be a different story.

Its been 13 years. How much time do they need?

Well, I am talking about right now. We looked like a championship team last year. But that is all gone now. We have a lot of work ahead of us to get this turned around. i think Tony can do it, but he needs constant coaching. he can't be treated like some sort of untouchable football God by the organization. He needs to be pushed. He needs competition. An offensive line woudl be nice too.....

You know everyone wants to talk about coaches and Jerry the GM. What I see is something completely different. I dont any leaders on the field. Where is this teams version of Aikman? Where is the fire of Irvin? Charles Haley?

Nobody on this squad has stepped up to be that guy. Thats a problem. Tony is a talented QB but what kind of leader is he?

Jerry the GM has put talent on the field but as Jimmy Johnson said, this isnt a team, its a collection of toys.

TEAM = TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MUCH - kind of answers all the questions doesn't it? Jimmy Johnson hit the nail right on the head.
