It is crazy to think because we have the best record in the entire league with 7 games to go and another game with the Giants. Tomorrow's game is far from a must win. Some here label every game a must win.

Sticky this, it will be true until week 17 (hopefully) and then 3 more times in the playoffs.

I recall people saying week 1 against the Giants was a must win. This is not a must win game. To me, a must win game is if you lose, you have definite consequences, like win or you're out etc. don't make no nevermind anyways, we are gonna tar and feather the Ravens.

i don't think this is a must win but it does make me nervous that everyone seems to assume the cowboys will win the game easily. sue me, i'm superstitious.

I'm not hyping this game. I'm hyping the Giants. They have a great defense, a super bowl winning qb, and a very favorable schedule. They'll almost certainly be 8-3 after their next 2 games.

So let's say Dallas drops this game to move to 8-2. Follow that up with the always tricky division game further complicated by a short week Thanksgiving voodoo.

This game could be very imprtant to keep an effective lead.

But maybe you guys are right. After all, it's not like the Giants could EVER get hot at the end of the year and ride a strong defense into the playoffs.

Crazy to think while sitting at 8-1.

But the Giants have the Bears this week followed by the Browns. Safe to say they'll be 8-3 in two weeks.

With them currently owning a head to head, Dallas needs every win to keep the lead.

You would have gotten a better response with a different thread title. This game is more critical than some people think. The Cowboys are really only 1-1/2 games ahead of the Giants because of the tie-breaker.

The biggest game will likely be the 2nd game against the Giants (week 14). It would be a Cowboys win, a Giants loss and the Giants tie-breaker advantage would be gone.

Giants defense isn't great. #14 overall. Dallas is #11.

Sacks, Giants #30. Dallas #17.

No ones saying the Giants aren't in good position or aren't a solid team who can be a problem, just that regardless this isn't a must win. Be nice though.

The only must win games are the ones where a loss mathematically eliminates you from the playoffs.

Yeah, I see it's becoming more about the definition of must win that the actual content.

.

Dont worry , its Giants , they will find a way to lose one of the games !

Even if they dont , if we take care of business against them the next time we should be in good shape, i'm worried more abt thangiving game against div rival.
