I'll criticize Jerry all day long on his reason and judgment, but I have never nor will I ever criticize him as a recruiter.
I give him all the credit in the world that when he decides he absolutely has to have someone he goes and gets them. The number of FAs or coaches who visited VR and left without a contract are few and far between.

Totally agree. This is stunning, and I can only conclude that the Jets just didn't want Cowher that badly.

I posted it because if an article came out saying ___________ was not interested in coaching in Dallas because Jerry was away on vacation and unavailable to meet him in person that the forum would go nuts looking for firewood for his bonfire.
