well there's more to it than that, Luck is good but he's horribly overrated. He's been cast as a top 3 QB and there's just no way he's in the same category as Brady, Brees, Rodgers, or Roth.
The other part is he needs some OL and a running game, just like Peyton did, to win.
The defense has been bad scouting and bad luck, blowing draft picks sets every team back....we have nothing to show for quite a few of our drafts.....2009 anyone?

That is what I would like to know about it

He has made some bad choices but it had little to do with cap space

They have cut Sio Moore-LB, Antonio Cromartie-CB, Bjorn Werner-DE and lost Trent Cole-DE to injury
