Sit Polite this game and use Campbell as the H-back on some running downs and a one back set on others. Something tells me if this happens, Polite will be sitting alot this season. He may even end up on the practice squad if Price make the offense even more explosive. What do you guys think?

I think that Parcells simply needs to review his notes from a week and a half ago. Who is the 53rd guy on the roster? I suspect it is Ogbogu, who didn't even make the final cut but was brought back only because of an injury. Well, the guy he was brought back to fill in for is ready to go. So sit Og, and put Price in.

Polite didn't cover himself with glory last week, but I'm not ready to toss him out with the garbage just yet. However, I agree with you that your suggestion would be a good way to get Price on the field without leaving a critical peice of our offense home.

Does Polite play on our kick and punt coverage teams?

Your only allowed to dress 45 + a third QB. If it where me I'd sit Copper.

In theory it may sound good. But logically, how well does DC know this postion as a true blocker, blitz pick up. As a change of pace, sometimes the FB gets a few carries. How can DC handle that, no threat of running there. Also, do you risk him getting injured at that point. Remember how his injury last year hurt our offense.

I understand your thinking, and too some extent agree. But many other factors involved otherwise also.

I am not sure if Polite is eligible for the practice squad. I think he may be, since he only has 1 game in the NFL so far.

ya exactly, i agree. sit ogbogu he doesnt have a role on this team anyways, and we already have some depth at LB. I think ogbogu might even end up getting cut again later in hte season, but its a very easy solution to who to play. Campbell as H-back is also a really good idea, that is the setup I use on Madden 06.

Burnett should be replacing Og on the 45 man game day roster. You still have to leave someone else home to take Price.

hmm. in that case i wouldnt mind polite sitting out. Campbell is a vet, and i dont see why he wouldnt be able to pickup the blitz, hes a good blocker. Also would be a good receiver out of the backfield on some plays.

Be prepared to be dissappointed in Price! Bandwagoners! The guy sucks. I'd rather have Copper in there with his above avg. special teams play!

The Commanders will blitz early and often. I doubt a lanky Campbell has the quicks to effectively p/u blitzers as well as Polite. Barber is surplus against this team.JJ and A-Train are capable of carrying the load and helping with blitz p/u.

I agree, JJ and Atrain can handle the running duties just fine.

I for got about Barber. I agree let him sit this one out. One problem though. If Price shows up big, who do you sit for the season?
