This is NOT a good matchup for us right now...

maybe if Curtis Johnson and/or Jason Williams were healthy and contributing in the LB corps, but let's be real: we don't match up with this team right now very well. Steve Smith and their TE are going to have a field day underneath if we don't pressure Eli any better than we did Leftwich. Romo and co. can and will score but they'll have to max protect. I fully expect a short, controlled game vs. these blitz happy clowns that will hopefully run the clock and keep the ball away from Eli and that offense. But in the end... IMHO we don't have the defensive personnel to play with them right now. But....I'd love to be wrong....remember: don't kill the messenger. (34-27 Gspots to win):(

MAN, timing is everything: just read about the Gspots injuries at receiver and in the secondary. Oh well.......let me have it...........................

we don't have the personnel to play with them so you think a practice squad LB and a rookie LB are gonna give us the personnel to play with them?

if there is ONE team in the NFC east that we match up well with, that team is the NYG. Over the last few seasons we have handled the Giants much better than the Eagles or Commanders.

I look forward to seeing the Giants, I'm sorry you feel the Cowboys are incapable of playing better than they did yesterday. Dallas know the Giants very well and will prepare for them this week.

We've been waiting the entire offseason for this game. Tampa was just a warm-up. We're going to put it on New York.

Do you really think that Johnson or Williams would have been seeing any action against the Giants, other than special teams, if they were helthy?

Seriously?

IMO, we are now built EXACTLY like the Giants. Good to great O-line that has been together for a few years now. Beastly 3 headed RB group (at least until Ware went down). A few questions at WR, but I think we have a lot less questions there than they do. A great Defensive front that creates alot of pressure on opposing QBs, but also helps to mask a suspect secondary.

The one thing we do have is a QB that is a playmaker, and not a bus driver...

I have a feeling that stadium will be insanely loud with 100,000 people in there.

They may even inspire Jay Ratliff to play like the big fat NT he should be.

Is Grady Jackson still unemployed?

Unfortunately you are not a messenger, this is YOUR opinion! Is it founded on fact? We seem to do okay against the Giants every time we play them, the chicken little attitude in this board can get tiresome at times.

I will be there!!!

My gut tells me that this might be the loudest NFL game in history. 115,000 people in the stadium. That's a record in it self.

Dopey face Eli Manning wont be able to check/Audible to JACK!!!

Just watch. The Cowboy crowd is going to be a big factor in this stadium also.

We need the crowd for sure. IF we win, it will be on emotion. The Giants area very good team. Matter of fact, there are no bad teams in the NFC east. The crowd might just make a difference.

Or if we win it may be that we're just as good, if not better than the Giants?

Ever since they lost Plax the mighty Giants offense has averaged 14 points a game. They lost Nicks and Ware yesterday for a few weeks, so now there average RB/WR are minus two more players.

Giants don't scare me.

If Newman/Jenkins/Scandrick/Sensabaugh can't handle Smith/Hixon/Manningham/Boss, this will be a long season.
