That's a very good question. I know that most fans did not like Romo back then. They said he had a weak arm and many predicted/expected that he would be cut before the season started. If he had failed on that play, the hate would have likely increased considerably.I'd forgotten all about that until he mentioned it again this week. What a way to win over your teammates and a good chunk of the die hard fans in one gutsy play.

The "TURN AROUND FOR WATT" play should have cemented him as the most entertaining QB in the league - and nary a peep about it outside of the Cowboy corners.
