Everyone knows I rip BP... and its hard for me to except him as our coach and not think about his days with the Giants!!! But I give credit where credit is due... no BS here just calling it like I see it! BP can get a team to the playoffs!!!

I dont care who, what, when, why or how... Free Agency, Backup QB, Passing O, Q-Dog and Hambone... I dont care, he can get teams to the tournament... and no way Belichek wins 10 games with that 03 team NO WAY!

BP knows this... he knows what he can do with what he has... and its fun to watch a master at his trade! Why else would he do the things he does like Vinny, or tell Dlehomme to walk, tell Bert Berry no thanks... cut his kicker just because he almost cost him a game! (oh and this will be the reason why he doesnt Sign Thomas from B-More) ...its not the car its the Driver!

He knows what it takes to get teams ready late in the year! Check out what he did this week, the little things he does, like take advantage of a road win on a Saturday night by rewarding his team a mini vaca... you dont make moves like that in the spur of the moment!


Everyone and their brother talks about him putting in Romo as the starting QB... they praise him to the hills!!! The move that impressed me the most was the one before that! Benching Drew!!! Drew was his son... But BP knew he had a team he could get to the playoffs... once again its not the car its the driver!


I've always said that GM BP is holding back coach BP... but once u get to this point and its win or go home! I will take my chances on BP the Coach over any other coach in the NFC and that includes Peyton and Reid! Why? BP has more skins on the wall... If Peyton got the Bye week u think he would use it to his advantage as much as BP? I dont... or if Reid could take advantage of winning the division more than BP? NO WAY!

I look at the Boys and say wow they could do so much more like getting TO on some patterns deep over the middle or designing blitz packages with 5 or 6 LBs... but then again I remember its not the car its the driver! What BP is doing is what seasoned jockey does on a thoroughbred, you run the race according to the Horse... and its competition!

I'm sure BP is looking at the NFC like the AFC some 10 years ago and sees the same opportunity... where the AFC was considered weak and a crap shoot as to who was the best... BP didnt have the Chalk team in the AFC... and if it wasnt for poor kickoff coverage he may have beat one of the best teams of ALL TIME!

I agree you can't just have trash and expect to win a super bowl with it, but if you're a good coach and you have a really good team yet some glarring weaknesses, how good your coach is could possibly be the determining factor.
But you do need talent, and the more the merrier.

It is the car and it is the driver.
GM Bill built this team, and it's a good team. The best team we've had since our stars began their fade, and a string of jokers were brought in to coach them.

Coach Bill has been anything but above reproach, and sometimes downright questionable in his decisions. But he has been smart and able to counter the mistakes with great performances.

The 2nd Giants game was a show of great coaching. Not so much on the field, but in the locker room and keeping the players focused on how to win, while we saw the Giants lose their heads time after time during the game, hurting their chances of winning.

The Saints game was a monumental show of arrogance and flawed coaching. The Falcons game was a good follow up performance to take the sting out of that one.

Bill is seasoned driver, driving a very well built car right now. As long he understands his and it's limitations, he has every chance of winning.
