Im sure Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary know a lot about football too but guess what? They couldn't produce. Bring in Jim Harbaugh and he turns a struggling franchise around.

I'm not denying that Jason Garrett doesn't know football. He just can't get results and this game is all about winning and losing. Not sounding smart.

As I said he will have to produce when the team loses that is on the HC you can't fire 53 but you can fire 1. It is his job to have the team focused and ready to play if they fail then it is on the HC. As for his knowledge of the game I have no doubts about it. There are a lot of calls that many coaches make that I don't always agree with if they are wrong it is on them. If players do not execute it is on the HC as well offense, defense and special teams. He is where the buck stops

try to respond without the spin. Garrett has his philosophy and it may be closer to Jimmy's rather than Landry's. But beat your head against the wall if you can't understand he is new here just like Landry was. Look back and remember Landry took 6 seasons to get to a 500 team ect ect ect. then went thru more growing pains and walls. Garrett has shown that this team has progressed each year not regressed. That is in the face of massive injuries. Hate to break the news back to the Pessimist Fanboys!

yes you wanted a SB win after 2 1/2 seasons I know. Did you know Landry had the team close after 7 seasons losing in the biggest game of the season for 5 more? Are you the exact same poster with the exact same low IQ or is it possible two people are this bright?

The problem with that is they lack talent. This is the kind of thing you say when all the pieces are in place.

Take a real honest look at the defensive roster. The time is when?

This is the second thread to day you've completely shut the door on with the first post. Must-win-game and now the "process".

How has this team progressed if they have had back to back 8-8 seasons?

I'll like this because your Cowboys fans and I probably seem like I want a fight with ya. But I am ready for the Bears game and lil red is doing well. yes he was 8-8 but you bozos left out the part about the entire defense playing the 2nd team the last half of the last few seasons. Red is young and inexperienced but he has enough to get better. Suggestion...Limit your complaining to a few ragging threads or quit following

It is this kind of reply that makes me wonder about the intelligence of the Cowboys fanbase. Maybe I can help you with a little history lesson. 1960 Tom Landry took over as head coach for the Dallas Cowboys and the team made up of castoffs from the other franchises went 0-11 with 1 tie landing them in 7th place. It took this team a total of six seasons to reach .500 in 1965.
1966 10-3-1 lost conference championship
1967 9-5 lost conference championship
1968 12-2 lost division playoff game
1969 11-2 lost division playoff game
1970 10-4 lost super bowl
1971 11-3 and the fanbase (probably your father or grandfather) felt that Landry could not get his team to win the big games.

well, things changed.

I sat in the stands of the first Cowboy game ever. Thanks, but I know the history of this team.

Great to hear from an ol fan. Unfortunately I am betting that during those first 12 years you would have been part of the posse that wanted Landry gone. I mean it took you less than 3 years to ask for the axe for Garrett

I also have been impressed with their 5 game win streak. Especially the last 2 wins over playoff caliber teams.

Can't believe what Chip Kelly is doing over there. 1st year HC from college has them already doubling their win total from last year.

It is amazing how a good coach can turn a team around. Jerry should try it some time.

Yea, I saw your boy's philosophy in Chicago last night......................did you enjoy the arse whooping?

You know what happend the last time we played a team 500 or better (the Saints)......................you guessed it..............another arse whooping.

Funny, every time we play somebody 500 or better we get our arse kicked.................man, your boy Garrett really has this thing heading in the right direction.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..................................enjoy the 3 games he has left.

Not exactly right. I wanted Red gone when he was a coordinator. He shows no imagination, he looks like a wounded puppy when a call goes against the team - I think I saw him pout last night - and in the seven years he's been here, he has yet to instill enough discipline to stop the freakin penalties. Not to mention his time clock management is sketchy, and he is about as vanilla as they come when calling plays.
