I've worn Cowboys jerseys to games in Washington for the past 15 years and ever had anything like that happen to me.

I've gone to games in San Diego, Buffalo, Carolina and never experienced anything like that.

And in EVERY SINGLE GAME I've ever been to in Dallas, I've never seen opposing fans treated that badly simply for showing up and supporting their team, and if I saw other fans being treated like that, I'd do whatever I could to defend them.

Eagles fans in Philly are pure garbage and defending them is indefensible.

The second time was while I was with my pregnant wife. Now I am 6'2" and shaved with a goatee, so maybe I just look like the type I guess.

The only time I got into any trouble was when I wore Cowboys stuff to a Redsk*ns/Eagles Monday nighter. I'm not sure what I was thinking doing that, but it was pretty bad.

Still wasn't physically threatened, but I got a lot more abuse for that one.

When you go to the Cowboys game here in Washington, there are tens-of-thousands of Cowboys fans there with you, so that helps. Even so, I don't think I'd bring my wife or kids to the game... especially kids because the language can get a little rough.

But it was just dumb wearing Cowboys stuff to a game where there were only Eagles and Skins fans there... I was lucky to make it out of there unscathed!

I agree. I would look into sueing the Eagles and the stadium if I were those Niner fans.


At some point the team and stadium have to be held accountable for what they allow to go on in the stands. At no time did you see security respond. No, all you get is some idiots coming out to move the niner fans someplace else. Don't deal w/ the situation or anything. Ignore that whole part of it. Just make the Niner fans who paid good money to see the game, move elsewhere.
