Romo is a great QB and I love the guy. He has given up GREAT HOPE. Even in defeat today.

But that INT was rookie-like.

I noticed that he took off running today. He needed to. We needed to.

I did not want to 10-1 or 9-2 with these kinds of games.

Romo needs more discipline. So does team.

A couple of butt kickings are in order. This was one.

Most Cowboy fans are ready to fight, but this is a very good post. The more we win ugly, the more we refuse to correct our problems.

yep. sometimes you need a slap in the face so that you wake up.

This team needs to realize they are not as good as they think. They must get better. And losses will make them realize that.

THe int was a great play by the defender. Something give other team credit 4film study. It's not always Romo fault on the int.

Complacency will get you everytime.

Good game Skins. Ill give you this one. Maybe this will wake Dallas up so that they know they have to play the full 60 minutes, start to finish.

I think they need to start putting in the hurry up offense in the beginning to get this team going early.

LOL.

You guys say this after every loss.

We only lost one MEANINGFUL game during regular season last year. So I dont know what you mean....

The playoff game is what you get when you play and win like we have been.

My post is MORE TRUE than it is "me being right".
My post is NOT a silver lining kind of comment. Its an urgency comment.

We needed this game to show the defense gameplanning needs a makeover.

Our run defense is poor, just like last year. Hopefully, Wade will make it a bigger priority to bring in a proper monster NT like all the other 3-4 teams have. You just cannot put a 300-pounder in there and expect good, consistent run defense.

The second thing that I hope is rectified is all the bland, soft zone coverage we are using.

The third thing is that we need to move Austin up to #2 and start using him more. Maybe start by giving him 1/3rd of the snaps at #2 and go from there. We also need to start designing more plays to go to him to open things up for Witten and TO.

How many times have we said "we needed a loss like this" in the past 3 years? It's not the fact we lost, it's how we lost.

It's the God-forsaken, putrid Commanders. It was the last time we will ever play them at Texas Stadium, and we laid down like a wounded dog.

I am so sick and tired of the lack of heart this team shows year after year. Yes, we lost games in our Super Bowl years, but Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson would never have stood for the lack of guts we displayed today.

If Jimmy was the coach, Sam Hurd would have been cut as soon as the whistle blew. Unfortunately, coach Golly Gee will just say "will git 'em next time guys", and they'll continue to take the field and let out popcorn farts like what we saw today.

We need to stop trying to force the ball to TO... a more balanced game plan might have helped...

Amen!!!! And let me add, winning is NEVER GOOD!!!!!!!!!! EVER. Are you kidding me with some people justifying a loss to the Commanders????? This would have never happened in the early 80's

I don't buy the theories that losses are needed.

Losing game are not needed but losing will happen. I don't care how good the team is. What seperates good teams from bad teams is how you bounce back from a lost. Good teams will bounce back and improve. Lets see how good this version of this Cowboys team is.
