This offense is historic

Man listen, they literally have no choice but to score at a high pace due to the lack of defense on the other side of the football.

Jerry is too stupid to make an effective trade now. They need an impact player on defense. Anything that would make this D average would make this team an immediate Super Bowl contender.

Double dipping for DTs in the next draft is imperative to improve this defense .

Cowboys now have 222 point scored, which is # 1 in NFC and in NFL only the colts have scored more 232 points. So #2 in whole NFL and # 1 in NFC.

Today vs wash, they won every quarter, and both halves separately ! I think that is a first for them.

Funny thing is the 2 qb's (Dak and Daniel Jones ) that are leading the leagues 2 highest scoring teams are qb's that are trashed, and made fun of by many zone members ! So laughs are on you guys!

Add to those 2 Mayfield, and Darnold, are 2 others that over the years here have be trashed here on regular basis, have turned into 2 of the leagues best qb's !

It's a shame Jerry will waste it.
Jerry deserves at least a modicum of credit for STEALING Pickens and a #6 round pick from the Steelers for a #3, and for the signing of Javonte Williams.

Pretty good upgrades on offense, don't you think? Especially when Washington, with Jaden Daniels, makes their 'splash' by signing Debo Samuel. Who would you rather have right now, Samuel, who will be 30 in January, or Pickens, who's 24?

Pickens and Williams, 24 and 25 respectively. Total cost for BOTH -- a 2026 3rd rounder and some cash.

Pretty damn good if you ask me.

This is why I want a soft rebuild of the defense with a mix of drafted rookies and high-level vets via trade and/or free agent. The window for this offense playing at this level is 2 years, maybe 3 IMO.

Once upon a Time I would have 100% agreed with you but in today's NFL things change so fast you never know when the window is just going to slam shut.

I would really love to wave the magic wand use one of those first round draft picks we got from Green Bay and take this defense from last in the league to mediocre and see if we could make the playoffs.

It's amazing how different a QB can look when playing in a better system. So much of the success is determined by the players and coaches surrounding them.

Daniel Jones, Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold were all written off as losers. Not anymore.

The offense hasn't had this many playmakers since the triplets. Jovante and Pickens are much better than advertised. I think the lesson here is pretty clear. You don't have to get all your talent in the draft. Sometimes, players just need a change of scenery and they can be had for cheap.

Well, like I've been saying since the trade: we got George Pickens!

And CeeDee Lamb. Both could be number 1 -- in the league any given year for the next 5 years.

Lock him up.

You can see the difference he makes. Not saying he is the only thing. Scheme is much better too. But Pickens just makes us more dynamic.

Which is why next game will be interesting to see what happens. DEN didn't look that great this week though, but I'm sure they'll be motivated after almost losing.

You aren't lying. Danny Dimes was just just taking the Chargers apart. Pretty impressive.

Shocked that Darnold still is doing well in a different location, but happy for him.

And I always had a feeling Baker would bounce back.

Very true and those were great additions this year, but being cheap can't be the basis for all your FA additions on a team. Elam and Murray still don't look good. Fowler and Sanborn are inconsistent and liabilities.

This is why draft picks are valuable and should be used with BPA in mind vs fill a backup or weakens like the Schoonmaker pick and Mingo trade. OTorrence, KTurner, BYoung, Achane or BIrving could have all been cowboys just from those two decisions alone.

Is it just me, or is Dak getting rid of the ball faster, as a rule? It seems pretty clear he's reading defenses better than he ever has.

I think there are an abundance of capable WRs and Rbs in the league. I am not expecting to see a veteran underutilized CB or DT with upside. Those are the positions you almost have to find in the draft.
