I agree there isn't much optimism, but when you have the #32 defense and it is probably going to get worse before it gets better (Hatcher likely leaving, Ware declining and too expensive, safeties running around in circles, annual injuries, linebacker disappointments, couch players on the DL, still absorbing the change to 4-3, salary cap problems, etc.), there just isn't much for even the most delusional optimist to hang his or her hat on right now. Morale will probably pick up if we have a decent draft and sign a free agent or two.

The good news is that a dollar store is bean built close to me.

The bad news is that this offseason I half have the hope I usually half for the coming and new season.

How, mens and womans, did we get here?

What football gods half we angred? Huh? What fowl deed half we comited to put us in perpetual middle of the pack mode. And now we face being in the last third of the NFL.
Mens and ladies, it's not like a bad season that a well-informed GM can and could correct, slowly or fastly. Such a GM would at least protend possibilities for a better future.
No, we are in the middle and going farther down and we half a GM for life who will continue to screw things up. The question is this: how far will we slide until there is a full-scale uprising? The answer is no one will rise up. We will all sit like they do at Cowboys Stadium sitting on their hands.

Yes, this offseason is different. Well, my intend was to point out that this offseason do not even give us hope no more. I appreciate that you think it is funny but beneath the "funny" words are frustrations growing daily and ever where like . . . like the moles i try to whack at the Pistol Pete's. almost ever day there is bad news and no good news. I pine for the days of the early Jerra when he could do no wrong expect to disturb landry's golf game.

I half my ideas and some are terible.
First, what will Jerra do to ruin my draft day? It can happen. He will try to be a "football guy" and pick someone we never heard of like that bearded guy Fergie last year. Or pick a position who will not be needed that much.
Then what if he pick an aging and injured veteran in FA and give him more money than Marlin perkins half?
The trouble Jerra can cause is imense, i tell you, iMense with a capital M!
I am glad you do not lose hope because then we all lose hope. what do you means when you say you temper your excitement? Is that like not exhibiting a temper with your excitement? do not be vague.
