biggest difference between us and philthy is drew bledsoe is a statesman and mcnabb is a big baby. bledsoe has voiced over and over he backs TO and considers him a friend as well as a teamate, thats all mcnabb had to do but instead he threw him under the bus cause mcnabb isn't a good qb he can just play football well.

ESPN will never admit to the fact that the Eagles were at fault just as much as Owens. They were missing so many pieces that they needed and had but the fact that they let these pieces walk or traded them away(Corey Simon) just because he asked for more money. The fact is the Eagle organization is so cheap to keep the players were thier fault not Owens. You look at Owens contract it was stuctured terribly (Even the NFL told Owens not to sign it) and acted suprise when he wanted more money.

All true. Eagles are just as much to blame.

The media is rooting for TO to fail so that they'll have a story.

LOL! I love how it's Philly's fault now that TO is in Dallas.

Some people are sssooo blind. I guess that's what homerism is all about.

Look, first, isn't it pretty early to be crowing about TO bringing harmony to the Cowboys.

Second, if TO becomes a model citizen with the Cowboys - and I'm hoping he is - that still does not justify what he did in Philadelphia, to Donovan McNabb to Andy Reid or the team.

What is it with people who have to take an all-or-nothing approach to controversies?

Why can't it be that TO was a major distraction and a disruptive influence in Philadelphia yet we hope he doesn't become one here?

There's no need to justify or excuse his actions.

Because if it was all TO's fault, the whole team would've been against him. At worst, it was a 50-50 split of support for TO and support for McNabb. There were a lot of players on that team that backed him up over the ownership and McNabb.

Now I don't like how he handled the situation, but he was hardly the only one to blame.

Tom Jackson has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer. Even those who figured he'd melt down gave the relationship at least a year.

Wishful thinking perhaps. Maybe he meant to say that the Cowboy players "hated their coach"....or maybe they were just "********".

Basically I loved the way they tried to spin it to were T.O. planned on going to the hospital to "disrupt his team". The media is full of a bunch of unoriginal bandwagon haters.

True, and even the philly radio talk show hosts argued this last year.

Of course now that he is a dallas cowboy, all that changes.

Every post before yours said the Eagles were just as much to blame as TO in the said events.

The fact that you read this as "it's Philly's fault now" shows that you have your own bias.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings. If I'm not mistaken, Philly was 17-4 when TO played for them. Remember, they wouldn't pay him. They suspended him. They made him the goat instead of talking about injuries or lack of execution...
