In reading the post here, I see that the opinions are all over the place. So, I will add my two cents worth here.
1. Romo is recovering from surgery and he needs a running game badly. In looking over the roster, I see that the coaches have provided him with a good running team.
2. Reading all the player injuries and arrest on the SF team gives me a warm feeling that Our Offense can take advantage of SF defense. This part of the game is winnable for the Cowboys.
3. If no more injuries happen to our defense and we keep fresh DL coming after the SF Offense I think the Defense can hold SF to 21 points.
4. The Cowboys ST is way better than SF and we will win this part of the game.
5. Ok, this is where I go out on the limb and make a prediction; Cowboys hold SF to 21 points; The ST holds SF to long possessions and scores a TD; The cowboys offense keeps the SF Defense a long time on the field and scores 21 points; final score Dallas 27 and SF 21.

These days it is hard to be a realist with this team and not expect some significant injuries to the Defense as they try their hardest with less talent than normal years to augment their extra effort.
I do agree with the injuries SF has suffered it has heightened the contest to one that coaching might make the difference for the win. Yikes this does not bode well for us if recent past is any indication.
Dwight Harris is a weapon with his animalistic attack to the return game I do believe we have a big edge.

This year, the Cowboys will need to score at least 30 pts in most games to win.

Dallas 31
49ers 28

Dan Bailey kicks the winning FG and Cowboys defense walks away with 2 turnovers and 2 sacks

how is this decided exactly? both teams have so many new special teams players, I can't figure out how you or anyone could have graded them out already

I predict we miss the playoffs once again and I am not really enthusiastic about the season.

Just because dallas will be terrible doesn't mean I won't enjoy the season. I love football and dallas will win some games. But yes even without Injuries dallas doesnt stand much of a chance and there will be more injuries. it'd just be nice to at least go one and done a few times in the playoffs for a change.

1. While we have invested in a RG, and hope for improvement in the OL, it's still an unknown how well the Offensive line will do and how effective the run game will be
2. Can we capitalize on it when we get to the redzone?
3. That would be nice. I think scoring early and forcing Kaep to throw the ball more times than the coaches would want him to will be big. However, if they can run a balanced attack, a duo of Gore and Hyde behind their O-line will be challenging to stop. Especially with our front 7 having so many fresh faces.
4. I agree.
5. I'll take it.
