Come on. There are a lot of great coaches throughout NFL history that never won a Super Bowl, and often times, this came down to the QB.

Belichick without Brady has one playoff appearance. What he did with the Browns in 94 was certainly a slightly accomplishment, but he went back to being 5-11 the next season. It shows, as great as Belichick is, ownership and who you have at QB matters.

It's not just Belichick and Brady, it's also Kraft. They are a perfect trio, and frankly, one we may not see in football again in our lifetimes. It's that special.

Belicheat can win a Super Bowl without Brady. His offense with Brady scored only 13 points, BUT his average defense gave up only 3 points to the Rams high powered offense because of Belicheats amazing defensive game plan. Give the man his due.

This game also proofs Coaching Matters a lot. We must get rid of Garrett to win a Super Bowl!

Possibly in one game scenario Bill could have won without Brady but it’s doubtful he makes it past San Diego and especially Kansas City without Brady’s championship drives which of course he pulled out in Super Bowl as well.

Bill is undoubtedly the greatest defensive guru of the era and Brady is the greatest QB. Together they are greatest combo in NFL history. Neither would have had this much success without the other.

Of course coaching matters. Unfortunately Jerry isn’t interested in greater coaching. Remember he tried that with Jimmy but winning championships wasn’t enough if he didn’t receive his credit.

Blaming Garrett doesn’t target the culprit who doesn’t want a great HC or normal front office.

Not sure when it became unpopular to target the core cause which thru how many HC’s remains in place and why even if and when we fire Garrett not much hope we will be in any better position with another puppetry HC .

Unless of course you thought we were in a better place with Gailey, Campo, Phillips and even Parcells all of which were more experienced and qualified which Garrett has surpassed all of their success as HC of the Cowboys.

Recognizing we have a problem is only part of the problem. Coming up with viable solutions within the parameters Jerry will allow is another dilemma and ultimately the insurmountable obstacle.

Getting to an winning the Super Bowl is not an all in one game thing. It's a culmination of a season.
Anyone that thinks the 2018 Patriots would be Super Bowl champs this year without Brady all season has lost their minds.

Does Belichick have 6 without Brady? No chance.

Exactly. It's not a coincidence that most Hall of Fame coaches had great QBs and vice-versa. Landry needed Staubach. Johnson needed Aikman. Walsh needed Montana and Young.

It's basically impossible to overstate the value of a guy like Brady who is a top 5 QB, every year, over and over.

Hell, Belichick already had a quality QB starting for the Patriots before Brady, Drew Bledsoe... and he went a combined 5-13 with him, including an 0-2 start in 2001. Brady took over the same roster and they went 11-3.

People point to the 2008 season where they went 11-5 without Brady. But that's a huge drop off compared to 18-0 with Brady with the exact same roster, against a softer schedule, and they missed the playoffs.

In 2016 they went 3-1 without Brady, which is nice and all until you realize that both QBs got hurt because they couldn't take a hit like Brady. Most QBs can't.

Watching the cowboys with hall of fame talent and junior college coaches is all the proof I need
