O.K., Cowboys, now we KNOW what you can do. We know that you have the talent in all 3 phases of the game to dominate a very good football team. Now, we expect nothing less the rest of the season. If you can do it once, we know you have the talent to do it again...and again.

If you can out-match the Falcons in intensity, physicality, and execution, you can do it to the Eagles, Giants, Saints, etc. If you can keep your focus for four quarters like you did last Sunday, you can do it for four quarters of every game. Period. That's what championship caliber teams do.

Now, I'm not saying you're expected to return a punt for a TD every game, or for one receiver to put up over 170 yds. receiving, or for Romo to play mistake-free ball the rest of the way, or for the defense to put constant pressure on the QB. But almost. Now that we know you have the guns, we expect them to be blazing EVERY play of EVERY game. No more excuses left.

Eliminating the mental mistakes (false starts, blown assignments) will allow this team to go deep into the playoffs.

Why do we all get so frustrated after losses? Because we've always known what this team can do, and when they do not perform to their ability we all get upset. Rightfully so.

We've all known what this team is capable of. We saw it again.

This does not change the fact that this team is still inconsistant, and mistake/penalty ridden.

We can beat any team in the league, we all know that. But until they stop beating themselves on a consistent basis, the bar is going to stay right where it is.

Yeah, really like this board doesn't freak out after every loss. Now that includes me too sometimes. This team is not going to play against every team like it did against Atlanta. Its not possible or hard to do. As long it does it in Playoffs, if they get there, that should be enough.
