....in Cowboy history, we missed it by ONE point. It was the 1991 38-6 drubbing at the hands of the Lions. For those downplaying how bad this was and saying we're fine, on our way, can't expect much better etc..., I beg to differ, out of the 21 playoffs loses EVER this is #2 and dang near the worst. This ain't Jimmy,Norv,Avezzano and company, this is dumb and dumberer.
Heads need to roll because these are not the coaches that will lead the Cowboys back to the mountain top and the sooner JJ figures that out the better because the clock is ticking on some pretty talented players. It would a darn shame to watch the window of opportunity close on this core group and not have a ring or two to show.
We can do better, come on Jerry, enough of the roller coaster get r done.

Oy, don't remind me.

I have a friend named Rick who is a Lions fan. That season I bet him we'd beat the Lions when we played them @ Detroit. The final score was 34-10.

I had to put a Lions bumper sticker on my car for a month. I was allowed to take if off on Thanksgiving Day. That was what I was most thankful for.

If you looked at the stats of that game we dominated the Lions. Not on the scoreboard though.

So we make the playoffs, beat the Bears and get to go to Detroit again. I was sure we were going to get revenge. Once again we dominated the stats but not the scoreboard.

The bet was for a haircut. I had to get 38-6 carved into one side of my head and the Lions logo carved into the other side of my head and I could not wear a cap that day at work. I had to pay for that haircut too.

To this day I hate Erik Kramer. He was a surgeon against us.

Worst bet I ever lost.

Do you know he said this or is this just being a troll?

Quoted by Mark Malone on Westwood One radio and surprised you would think I would troll.

I apologize. I don't look at usernames. I think that comment was meant to incite. If he said that, and I haven't seen the game yet, I haven't heard it.

No worries, I had to listen to the game in the car. After Malone quoted Wade, the other commentator said Wade was "in denial.":

The Fox sideline reporter also quoted him at halftime as saying something along the lines of "we're alright" when asked about what to change for the second half (I believe that was the question and subsequent answer given...someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Childress' comment was "You notice you haven't heard DeMarcus Ware's name much since that first drive. We made an adjustment."

I'd love it DeMarcus Ware knocks that piece of **** out at the Pro Bowl. I'd definetly punch that bald headed egomaniac in the face.

When you look at the stats it does look like we're all right. It is clear we moved the ball but did not finish drives. Sounds like a couple of games this year. San Diego in particular.

No kidding about the egomaniac thing. I really hadn't paid much attention to Childress' style or press conferences until that Monday Night loss to Chicago. I was stunned by the way he handled his press conferences. He tried to chide reporters and acted as if he owned the place. Blew me away.

He started belittling one reporter who asked a question toward the end of the press conference. Childress said something like, "Oh, look, you finally asked a question. I thought you only asked things when hanging outside my office." He then proceeded to say something about how the reporter could consider those office visits over from this point on. Just totally unprofessional IMO -- and especially from a guy with as few of skins on the wall as that yahoo.

Yeah, we moved the ball the first three drives of the game, but just couldn't finish. Then Flozell went down and it felt like we didn't get another first down all game.

Guarentee you that the Vikings will lose next week. Plus we will see a Favre retirement for their plans. I'd love to see Bradley and Brett go at it. That would be comical. I heard Childress dressed up like a Nurse to motivate them against the Steelers LOL!!!! This man is insane, and rightfully so will not be a coach for that team in 3 years. Trust me he will bring them shame, and will never win anything memorable.
