I love Dak. He's a winner.

But this was the first game of the season where it was obvious Romo would have made it an easy (easier) win.

Dak left ALOT of meat on the bone. Romo would have destroyed the Eagles defense.

I'm torn. I still think a good Romo gives us the best chance at a SB. No rookie has ever won the SB for a reason.

We have the ability to contend this year.

It was the first game where the QB had to really make the plays to win it, and against a very good defense. I don't think there's any doubt that Tony's the better QB when healthy. But I'm not complaining. Dak's numbers weren't great, and he was spotty early, but he comes through when it counts. The dude's just a winner.

lol.. this is all speculation. Romo,13 year pro, 2 playoff wins, 0 mvps... throws 5 ints against Buffalo and we still won..

"oh.. romo played well when it counted".

Dak played a way less shittier game, and played well when it counted, but the Romo homers dont want to give credit where credit is due.

Romo is 36, he is what he is at this point in his career. A good regular season QB until week 17. To think that he is suddenly going to come back and turn into Tom Brady is not only laughable, its pure insanity.

Dak looked like the rookie he is in this one. Very poor fundamentals. Should have been 3 picks not one. Romo wins this game by 2 TDs should not have been close. Dak had no answer for the blitz the whole league just took notice.

Romo breaks his back in this game, and it would have been like the blowout loss against Philly in 2008. 6 points, 3 turnovers.

Stop being delusional.

This game told me exactly what I needed to know about Dak. Doesn't have an NFL arm.

Welcome back, Romo.

He doesn't have an NFL arm when he doesn't set his feet with good fundamentals that's a lot of QBs. He needs to learn his protections recognize the blitz adjust his protections and go quickly to hot route Romo does this in his sleep.

Id rather take our playoff chances with Romo, if he can prove that he still plays at an elite level, than a rookie. Historical precedence about rookies in the playoffs vs. Romo in the playoffs, gives Romo better odds.

Kind of like Romo's game at AT&T vs the skins where he got destroyed by the blitz in 2014 WHERE WE LOST? This is the NFL.. it's difficult to win let alone as a rookie and we have a two game lead in the NFCE. Tony may have won this game by two TD's or we may have been blown out... you simply cannot play this game. Stop whining and being delusional.

I agree… however, Dak is slowly but surely erasing all doubt. But for the night, you were right. A lot of credit goes to the Eagles defense, but there were plays open the Dak didn't see. It was very obvious he was only reading half the field.

To his credit, about two weeks ago I was saying that my biggest concern about him was how he would handle having to play from behind in the fourth quarter. Well, he answered that question tonight.

Tell me one quarterback you could've put on those teams in that 13 year period, and I'll tell you they still wouldn't of won any more than two playoff games. There are 53 guys on the roster. It takes all of them.

But a good QB fixes all problems. Just look at how good the depending MVP is doing this year despite having a sub par team around him!

Dak was mostly horrible, but I thought he gave it his all and did the best he could do. Even had they lost -- and they probably should have -- I wouldn't have just blamed it on #4. This was a hard game. I've been fairly consistent in my views, so even if Dak had thrown 5 TDs and 400 yards tonight I still want Romo starting as soon as possible because he is a much, much better quarterback. But Dak is allowed to have a bad game and not have it undo all of the good things he has done.

Believe it or not I agree with you. I do feel Dak is the better QB overall but that is an honest viewpoint in my eyes.

Romo would have been headed back to the hospital after facing the Eagles D. And the 29 points put up by Dak and the Boys tonight exceeds any score posted by Romo in a game he played last year...so, I'll take 'leaving a lot of meat on the bone' as long as we keep winning.

Its wrong to say that the decision to start at QB is between Dak and Tony.

Tony's health is irrelevant. He's at the end of his career.

The real decision is whether Dak plays well enough that it isn't necessary to take a QB in the 1st in 2017. We need to see as much as possible of Dak to make this decision.

Don't waste this OLs chance at challenging for multiple SBs.

Luck was drafted by a 2-14 team and has already more playoff wins than Romo in much less time. Do I have to remind you that playoff game Colts had against the Chiefs, where Luck was missing the majority of his starters and he still put up 45 points and won? Romo doesnt do that.
