This week the division, next week the BYE

The Cowboys can clinch the NFC East this week with a win. It is a game that they must win if we have any hope for this team in the playoffs. The Eagles are a less talented team, starting their backup quarterback and playing in our yard. If you can't beat that team to win the division, what sort of noise can you realistically expect to make in the playoffs?

The Saints have a tough game next week against the Giants. That game is in Giants' stadium with the Giants fighting for their playoff lives. Following that, the Saints play the Panthers, who should have Delhomme back. It's not a given, but logical to assume that the Saints will drop one of those two final games.

So this week is about winning the NFC East, and next week will be about getting the BYE week. We'll be favored in both of these games. It's December, and time for some separation. I can't wait!

Yes I would prefer they win... but "have any hope"???... THEY ARE IN ALREADY... they have as good a chance as anybody. AREADY.

Us having a first round bye isn't that far fetched, I seriously see the Giants fighting back with one last tough game against the Aints. If we handle our business, things will most likely fall into place .

Well if the Saints lose next week they will be 9-6 going into the last week and we will have a chance to clinch the #2 seed and a first week bye if we win our last 2 games, so I don't think resting our guys for the Detroit game with the #2 spot available is a good idea.

Dont give that team too much credit for "fight" excepts amongst themselves.

I could see that team laying down to get rid of HC and to not help Dallas. Even though they are still in standings-wise... I dont think they are in it in their head.

If somehow the Cowboys manage to lose this coming week, yes, they are still in and yeah, they can maybe even win a playoff game on the road (against the Seahawks) but getting to the Superbowl with three road wins is a difficult task.

That's the point that I am making. They really need to close the deal this week, slam the door shut.
