Im from Milwaukee and i got ten phone calls in 5 minutes after the game ended everyday at work somebody chants "cowboys" or "Tony Homo" or "Tony Simpson". And then they talk about that it is a good thing we lost because the Packers were gonna beat us in Dallas anyways. I have been getting it non stop here in milwaukee

I live in Madtown,WI, and I, also, have been getting crap non-stop.

Before the Giants game, all the Packer fans wanted Dallas to lose because they feared a loss if Green Bay had to go to Dallas.

After the Giant game, all Packer fans said they wanted Dallas to win because the Packers were going to beat them in Dallas and get revenge.

They now say they are only NFC team capable of beating New England.

Sure.

Anyway, on a side note....Friday was Green and Gold day at my kids school and I dressed both my daughter and son in Cowboys shirts and Cowboys hats.

And I didn't even have to duct tape them to a chair to dress them.

Win or lose, my kids love the Cowboys.

Ditto as SacredStar.

Before the Cowboys lost to the Giants it was all fear on the part of the Packer fans...After we beat them, there were lots of excuses about what went wrong on their side. Since that game, almost every week I'd get a little abuse about the Cowboys because they were really wishing that we'd fall off so they wouldn't have to go to Texas Stadium.

They were scared of our team. I emphasize the "were".

After we lost to the G'ints, the tone totally changed. Now its "I sorta wish the Cowboys DID win, because I think we'd go down there and kick their @$$!"

It hasn't been too terribly bad, nothing like when I was a youngster growing up here literally taking punches for the team, but its there...The Cowboys are the opponent here.

We are getting hammered down here in Miami. Between the dolphins taking all of our coaches and scouts and the morning host Sid Rosenberg being a huge giants fan It can't get any worse. Florida is widely know as the 6th borough anyway. We are the laughing stock of the league. The first NFC number 1 seed to lose in the divisional playoff round. Phillips 0-4 in the playoffs... romo has 2 less wins in the playoffs than eli. I've heard it all. If the giants win today.... it will be all giants radio monday morning.

The name of the thread should be those outside of Texas.Really the only area of the state that you'll get constant flak is in Houston.

I used to live in The Big Easy for a number of years, and while New Orleans sports fans are generally narrow-minded, dumb, and VERY ordinary(outside of the Saints, LSU, and Tulane-they don't know squat about anything else), this, like with 90% of Louisiana(other than Shreveport and Lake Charles) is VERY anti-Cowboys country. I used to get alot of flack over the years when they stunk it up/choked. Thankfully, don't live there anymore, but it would have been at its WORST for me over the last week.

For those that live in other football cities, how are the citizens treating you?

LOL...I live in the New Orleans area, and I can TOTALLY vouch for what you say!!

I haven't gotten a lot of flak from my Saints-fan friends this week, but they might all be too drunk over LSU's championship to really have noticed anything about the Cowboys!! :lmao:

I can vouch for this, and it's not even limited to friends/family/coworkers. Earlier this week I was at a gas station, and a complete stranger saw the Cowboys sticker on the back of my Bronco and started talking trash.

As I said earlier, it hasn't been a fun week. :(

One of the local sports talk shows in Charlotte NC (Primetime with the Pacman) has vowed to announce the number of days that have passed without a Cowboys postseason victory every day until they win one. So that would be a yes.

There's also another show that has a "Are you dumber than a Cowboys fan" segment.

I love it that cities or fans of teams that isn't even in our division or conference and they barely have any type of history with us obsess over what happens with the Dallas Cowboys.

I live in central NJ, work in NYC, and was on National TV last week, and everyone saw me so let me tell you it has been an extremely rough week.

I came back from Dallas to find a giant bag of popcorn at my doorstep.. That's for starters,,then it just escalated... what is starting to annoy me is defending why and how I'm a cowboy fan living in NJ...Its been a very loooong week, make sure you find out about the whole season and this week in the documentary I shot. I will let you all know when it's completed

There have been some Commanders fans to run their mouth, but it is just to easy to come back on them, so after they say something and then I say 10 things back they back off.

My first question to them is always...where's your skins gear? That usually shuts them up.
