At first I was furious that we losed the game I started sulking around there house and pouting and generally pissing off everyone around me. Then I started to think about this game and this season and it really brightened my mood here are some of my thoughts.
1) This was our game to loose. We were dominate almost the whole game. Yes we should have won, but they barely beat us and they are supposed to be the second best of the team. Honestly we beat ourselves.
2) These guys played fantastic for having 3 games in 11 days. Not much time to rest and game plan. I think the Long TD was more from our guys being tired after the amount of games we have played in such a short time.
3) This team is mentally ready to handle ANYTHING and ANY team in the NFL, including the colts. I don't see the colts D stopping us to much.
4) Yes Billy boy missed the kick, but I am not too mad at him, he hasn't even been on the team, much less kicking in games, for a week. He has not been hardend to these types of games that we play.
5) Aron Glenn is a great corner and I am very happy we have him, however we need Henry out there to match up with the big recievers. That TD pass never happens if he is on the field.
6) WE could very easily be undefeated this season, these close games are going to pay off when it comes to the playoffs. I think we are seriously the second best team in the NFL.
7) If we get a first round bye in the playoffs, I think we go to the superbowl. The only thing about the colts that scares me is Payton. The ONLY thing about him that scares me is that he is like having a coach on the field, he calls the plays he wants to after we set up our defense. We need to be tricky with him.
8) Is Newman the fastest man in the NFL or what. He has been coming from nowhere and chasing folks down all season. He goes to the probowl this yearl.
9) We need to disguise our blitz better. We have to be about the worse blitzing team in teh NFL. More stunts to.
10) We don't Need TO. But I am not going to lie, it would be nice. But seriously we have four good recievers, I hope Key finishes his career here. He has definatly earned his Star. I like what he did with his TD catch today.
11) JJ and Barber are a great combination. I hope they stay together for a long time. Honestly I think they need each other to be sucessful, niether are a dominate back.
12) Do you miss Coakly and AlS now or what. I see why KC let him (Fujita) go. He is not good in space.
13) I noticed a few new plays. Once Denver got blitz happy we pulled them out and they backed off. I hope we are saving part of the play book for the playoffs.
14) What is it with teams keying on our snap count in the first quarter? I noticed last week and this week they were getting a jump on the ball, however after the first quarter DB changed up his snap count a little, and got a few off sides calls again.
15) I know this is going to end up on extremeskins as a homer post but I like how our team is playing. However, notice there is no blame on the referees? (even if there were a lot of no calls)
16) I am thankful for the 2005 Dallas Cowboys, they are so far from the 2004 ones. It is like day and night.
