minus the two games tonight:

1) after all the ridiculous man love Deangelo Hall got for doing next to nothing in week one, he played an awful game yesterday...he was toast city yesterday vs Seattle

2) while I am on Hall, I will add that I still dont think the Falcons are a playoff team (which I said in preseason)...Vick is what he is, and that means he is about a zero as a passer..Seattle doesnt exactly have a good defense and had basically no trouble shutting them down yesterday...take away his one fluke scramble and the Falcons netted less than 200 yds of offense...Vick's been the most over hyped player in sports history since he came in the league, and now he can add most overrated...he misses more open receivers than any "good" QB I've ever seen

3) hey that was some game JP Losman played yesterday (not)...I've seen high school QB's play better than that..I'm betting it wont be long before he's sitting behind Kelly Holcomb...if Bledsoe plays good tonight, wonder if Mr Donohoe will start regeretting that decision to run Bledsoe for Lostman?

4) I'm guessing the Dolphins and Bears want a do over on the RB's they took ahead of Cadillac Williams...blistering the Vikings defense isnt saying much, but he ripped up a damn good Bills defensive yesterday...Brown's averaging less than 3.0 yds a carry I think..Benson had a ridiculous holdout and has been a non factor in his two games

5) its time to call David Carr and Joey Harrington busts

6) memo to Duante Culpepper, until you actually get back to even a "mediocre" level of play, maybe you should stop doing that stupid little "get your groove on" dance before games that you've been doing...what an atrocious two games he's had, that might be the two worst games I've ever seen a QB play in back to back weeks

7) Matt Leinart gets a huge amount of pub (mostly deserved) but Reggie Bush is the best player on that team IMO...I'm not 100% sold on Leinart's prospects as a great (or even good) NFL QB yet, but I am 110% sold on Bush's ability to be a huge star in the NFL...there arnt many times I'd be in support of using a top-5 pick on a RB, but Bush would be one I'd use a top-5 pick on...(not here now, because we have JuJo, just saying if I was an NFL GM)

8) Phillip Rivers will be playing QB for San Diego sooner rather than later

9) the NFC realy just might have two division winners with 8-8 records (North and West)

10) I'm saying will win comfortably tonight...wont be a blowout, but I think we win 20-7 or 20-10...I think Jason Witten has a big game, I think Demarcus Ware gets his first NFL regular season sack and I think Peerless Price will be active and make a big play at some point

Agree with some, not with others, but one, number 7 totally disagree with you. He will be an NFL Stud, just like the guy he backed up ( Mr. Palmer ).

last year was...

2 games is too early to tell. other than cadillac the other 2 have to split carries and are on terrible offenses. id say give it a year or two before making that decision

well you started off with same old stuff i've heard you say, and i doubt if Hall, Vick, or ATL for that matter goes to the SB and win you would give them any credit, but for the rest i kind of agree on you with.

I'm not saying he wont be good, just saying I am not 100% sold on him yet...I'm not sure he's as good a pro prospect as Palmer is because I think Palmer has/had a stronger, more accurate arm

I said Caddy would be the best RB drafted this year...along with Arrington.

He's quicker than the others, and he's got deceptive power...there's also a reason he started over Brown at Auburn. Auburn coaches saw both of them for like 4 years, day in day out, they know best

if they did I'd give them credit...but they wont, so I wont have to worry about it

No shoot Sherlock. I would too... It's just a little early to be predicting us winning the East...don't you think?

Good thoughts David, and I agree pretty much 100%.

I've said many times that I don't think that much of Leinart, and yes, I'd take Bush ahead of him in a heartbeat.

Your sarcasm meter must be broken........I wasn't trying to be a smart arse.
I just don't see us winning the East.

I know David Carr is catching hell in Houston right now. Sport Radio this morning the callers were brutal. Loved every second of it. LOL

you just never know today...Rams were 4-12 in 1998, what happened in 1999? Baltimore was 8-8 I think in 1999, what happened in 2000? what did the Pats do in 2000?

too much parity now...we could finish anywhere from 7-9 to 14-2 to be quite honest

Agree mostly but dont agree on 8. I have seen Phillip Rivers in pre-season. I was not impressed with him that much.

YOu stole my thought on Leinart. Reggie Bush just seems just so awesome. For all publicity Adrian Peterson gets, man Reggie Bush just seems like a guy no matter how he touches the ball, he can take it the distance.

That could be case with North and West divisions. Worst Divisions ever most likely.

I know....I'm just trying to keep some prespective. I like our chances for 9-10 wins as I see the team today (With the option of changing my mind)

I'd have no problem taking home the 1 seed.
