Thoughts on CB Jeff Gladney

1st round draft pick in 2020 out of TCU. Played 16 games in 2020 for the Vikings. Cut and missed the entire 2021 season because he was charged with felony assault. He was found innocent of all charges today. I don’t know much about him but he is someone that we could probably bring in cheap and kick the tires on since being a cheap free agent is a prerequisite of our front office. From Texas and played college ball at TCU so he may be interested in playing in Dallas.

I had high hopes for Kazee but he was a disappointment last year. Wasn’t impressed with Hooker either. Kearse is the only safety I really care about keeping and we will probably lose him because of our cheap front office.

Please elaborate. Do you know something about the player? A reason why we should avoid him?

He’s a young potential starter that we may be able to get cheap because of a charge against him where the jury unanimously ruled in his favor.

You're thinking more about the roster than the GM. Take it easy and give yourself a break and a Johnny Walker. You deserve it.

I don’t know if he would be cheap but I can’t imagine a team throwing a ton of money at a guy who just missed a year of football fighting assault charges.
