It is looking more and more that the Raiders will end up releasing Jerry Porter. Does anyone here feel he would be a good fit in Dallas in the event of Glenn not returning?

As for Porter, not really under any circumstances would I want him around. He thinks he's the ****, but he's never actually been said ****. He muses around for two months, and is unproductive, and then shows up once his team's eliminated and declares himself the greatest. Not really concerned with him being a jerk, as his current situation is more out of loyalty to Norv than anything - I just don't think he's any good.
With the cap the way it is, there may be a few teams with a need at WR that will be willing to overpay him.Doomsday101;1384014 said:I'm not sure how much he can command given the situation last season. He is a 7 year vet and 29 years old. I admit I would rather try and keep Glenn but the cost could be a factor for the Cowboys

Glenn, isn't going anywhere.Doomsday101;1383994 said:It is looking more and more that the Raiders will end up releasing Jerry Porter. Does anyone here feel he would be a good fit in Dallas in the event of Glenn not returning?
