The game was a good game IMO. At least untill the 4th. And im surprised there is an actualy Pats fan here complimenting us. Thanks. But really i believe other than the penalties, we didnt lose this game. The Pats won this game. We did make some plays. The TD to Crayton and the one to TO come to mind. Those were outstanding plays that were IMO jaw dropping. Barber was his usual beastly self and JJ actually showed up(some what). I agree that we do need to find some way to start off better but just like what was stated in another thread i think the start of this game i think we were intimidated. But, then just when we were just starting to find our rhythm penalties cost us. Then it was over when Brady got the ball. I do think our secondary needs help and with Henry it would of helped but it didnt necessarily mean we would have won. Penalties, penalties, penalties. Arent we like the most penalized team in the league for like the past 3 years. We need to find discipline on our team and fast. I dont agree with some of the penalties that were enforced yesterday but there were enough legal ones that killed us.
We did stay with them for 3 1/2 quarters but as stated by many people on the boards(but, not the media) but the defense got wore down. Could this be a conditioning problem? Our defense hasnt really had to work this hard all year. As for the media, if you go to ESPN, NFL.com or any of the other sports sites on the net you dont see how the Cowboys stayed with the Pats for 3.5 quarters you just see how the Pats dominated the Cowboys, and how many TD's Brady had. You dont see anything about how he fumbled and a defensive TD came from it. You dont see how he over threw some of his passes. You dont see how the Cowboys just dominated their running game. I think they had one run of about 9 yards but everything else was 2 or 3 yards at the most. You dont hear anything good from the Cowboys or how they are still a good team. They are still 5-1.
These are just some of my thoughts as i have plenty more but not for this thread. Thanks.
