We need Henry so that our three corners in nickel situations are Newman, Henry and Reeves, with Nate Jones on the bench. Other than the pass to Stallworth, Reeves played well. But Jones was beaten six times, including four third-down converions -- one of those for a TD.

Ugh. Just makes it hurt that much more. Come back Henry. Soon. For the love of all that is holy, please come back soon.

I'm trying to figure out when they completed a quick out. I can't think of many. Some of their plays were in perfect coverage they just made plays because they have 2 big time playmakers and a quick guy that's hard to defend when you have 2 big time playmakers at WR. NE has the best WR corp in the NFL and the best QB in the NFL. They aren't easy to stop.
and that is because they dumped their resources into those positions...we dump our's into the offensive line...then we get a 4th down late in the game and kick a FG instead of forcing that fat boys up front to earn their paycheck..then we cry when they cram down our throats on 4th down at the end of the game....we better grow a sac if we want to play at the highest levels

C'mon now, that's Roy's fault. Matt Mosely said so.

So your comparing us to the crappy teams the pats played before they played the Boys?

What a back handed compliment.
I think last year's 14-2 Chargers were a pretty worthy opponent but seriously, stop looking for conflict where there is none.

Mosley's a moron if he's blaming Roy for Kyle Brady's TD catch. Brady was lined up on the other side of the field from Roy, who had a tight end on his own side that he was covering. The two linebackers on Brady's side bit on the run fake and let Brady run past them for the easy TD catch.

The coverage on Moss' TD catch was a mess. We ran that stupid zone with five defenders spread across the end zone, plus we had Ware sprint back from right defensive end into the end zone on the left side. So we ended up with three defenders on the left side of the end zone against two receivers, Hamlin in the middle covering nobody and Roy and Newman on the right against Moss and Watson. All the offense has to do is flood one zone with a receiver short and a receiver deep, and it's an easy touchdown. And that's exactly what the Patriots did. Watson ran short in front of Roy, Moss ran deep behind Roy, and Brady just picked the one Roy wasn't covering. If Roy drops deep, Watson has an easy TD at the goal line. I just don't understand why we keep running that stupid coverage in the end zone.

The game was a good game IMO. At least untill the 4th. And im surprised there is an actualy Pats fan here complimenting us. Thanks. But really i believe other than the penalties, we didnt lose this game. The Pats won this game. We did make some plays. The TD to Crayton and the one to TO come to mind. Those were outstanding plays that were IMO jaw dropping. Barber was his usual beastly self and JJ actually showed up(some what). I agree that we do need to find some way to start off better but just like what was stated in another thread i think the start of this game i think we were intimidated. But, then just when we were just starting to find our rhythm penalties cost us. Then it was over when Brady got the ball. I do think our secondary needs help and with Henry it would of helped but it didnt necessarily mean we would have won. Penalties, penalties, penalties. Arent we like the most penalized team in the league for like the past 3 years. We need to find discipline on our team and fast. I dont agree with some of the penalties that were enforced yesterday but there were enough legal ones that killed us.

We did stay with them for 3 1/2 quarters but as stated by many people on the boards(but, not the media) but the defense got wore down. Could this be a conditioning problem? Our defense hasnt really had to work this hard all year. As for the media, if you go to ESPN, NFL.com or any of the other sports sites on the net you dont see how the Cowboys stayed with the Pats for 3.5 quarters you just see how the Pats dominated the Cowboys, and how many TD's Brady had. You dont see anything about how he fumbled and a defensive TD came from it. You dont see how he over threw some of his passes. You dont see how the Cowboys just dominated their running game. I think they had one run of about 9 yards but everything else was 2 or 3 yards at the most. You dont hear anything good from the Cowboys or how they are still a good team. They are still 5-1.

These are just some of my thoughts as i have plenty more but not for this thread. Thanks.
