I don't think the Bears did either. They don't have an offense like the Cowboys on their best day!
But if teams get rolling early, (Giants last night) it's hard to slow down

Cowboys lost a huge piece early in the game and failed to adjust.I don't think the Bears did either.

That'll be the exact team that does it the team with the no namesDon't think Carolina has the front to do that.
Anticipation/instincts to the hole don't do a darn bit of good when Sanborn's just too slow to get there.I actually like Sanborn against the run far more in coverage. LB fits were terrible last week after he went down.
Defense really needs another Sean Lee, although one who is healthierAnticipation/instincts to the hole don't do a darn bit of good when Sanborn's just too slow to get there.
The problem is, all the rest, Murray/ Luafau/James, are fast enough but have no idea what their proper run fits are or how to execute them.
So one is smart enough but not physically gifted enough to do the job. The other 3 are physically able but mentally inept.
Panthers coach is better based on what exactly?Panthers are much different from the Jets. New York has more talent but Carolina is tougher and has better coaching. The quarterbacks are a wash but I am more fearful of Wilson and Hall than I would be of Tet and Rico. This will be a tough game.
Exactly.Defense really needs another Sean Lee, although one who is healthier
Both Head coaches are longtime OCs with Canales just having 1 year HC experience over Schottenheimer so I think its a tie at best.Panthers coach is better based on what exactly?
He was saying panthers coach is better than jets coach. I'm wondering why. You can even add schotty as well. None of the 3 coaches have proven anythingBoth Head coaches are longtime OCs with Canales just having 1 year HC experience over Schottenheimer so I think its a tie at best.
I do like Canale's devotion to having a "violent" running attack but Shotty is currently enjoying the #1 offense in the NFL.
I put it at a wash until we see more from both
I understand. I was just thinking aloud about his statement and didn't see any advantage over us that we should be concerned with.He was saying panthers coach is better than jets coach. I'm wondering why. You can even add schotty as well. None of the 3 coaches have proven anything
We need a Sean Lee, a Keith Brooking, and a Bill Bates!!!Defense really needs another Sean Lee, although one who is healthier

TMac vs Pickens. I hesitantly take Pickens.I see a similar team as the Jets defensively, but far more explosive on offense. Carolina has only played 2 games at home and they won both games.
Offense
-Carolina has two huge receiving options. We get to see T-Mac whom the Cowboys were going to take if he fell to them in the draft. Also, Renfroe is a real tough cover in the slot.
-Former Cowboy Rico Dowdle is coming off of a career day. However, he did it against the worse run defense in the league.
-Bryce Young has been up and down throughout his young career
-Their OL is average at best.
Defense
-Kind of like the Jets, have a great DT in Derrick Brown. He isn't much of a pass rusher, but he could be a force against the run. Robinson has always been a high-end run defender throughout his career as well.
-Pass rush is very average, similar to the Jets. Nic Sourton, Patrick Jones are the names to watch.
-Again like the Jets, they have 1 high end corner, but I don't think he will travel like Sauce last week. Play a ton of zone coverage, even more then the Cowboys. Expect a similar type of scheme like we run. Force us to drive the length of the field.
As with any young team, do not give them any early confidence or allow them to get in rhythm. Force them to match score for score against our offense. They is the definition of a "trap game" with Washington coming to town next week. They can ill afford to take this team lightly.
Every game in the NFL is going to be tough especially on the road. As you said, don’t let them get any momentum going because that will bring the fans into the game.I see a similar team as the Jets defensively, but far more explosive on offense. Carolina has only played 2 games at home and they won both games.

Pickens is a more proven commodity at this point, but T-Mac has the potentialTMac vs Pickens. I hesitantly take Pickens.
